Waveform 13 pro and Komplete Kontrol A49

Hi, I'm new to Waveform (but not to DAWs) and all my keyboards and controllers show up where appropriate as keyboards, except my Komplete Kontrol A49. It shows in the setup for MIDI controllers and it active, but when I go to a track to enable it, it isn't there. My Roli Seaboard is, my old Axiom 25 is there, and all my twirly know midi controllers are there.
I'm not trying to get it to control my DAW as a controller (play, record, stop, etc.), just trying to get midi notes in to play stuff. It works fine with the same setup in Presonus Studio One and Ableton Live so I know it's connected correctly.
Any ideas why it's not showing up? Also, no-go when I try all midi inputs.

I see Settings -> Control Surfaces and Settings -> MIDI Devices but no "MIDI controllers". Maybe you can show a screen shot of what you're talking about?
Enabling a MIDI device is done in Settings -> MIDI Devices, not on a Track.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

So just to confirm, the MIDI device named "KOMPLETE KONTROL A49" is the regular MIDI part of your device and the other one "Komplete Kontrol A DAW" is the controller part of it?
It looks like someone else might have had a similar thing happen. Unfortunately either they didn't resolve it or didn't report back.

I've never had this happen to me, so I doubt I can help. I'd probably start by rebooting and resetting and maybe looking through the settings files.

Yes, that is correct. On my other DAW's I only use MIDI part, not the DAW controller part. That's what I'm trying to do here. I have a ticket in now for a week, but haven't heard anything back yet...

Seems like it should be a simple question/answer. What’s the story? It’s been another week and a half... three weeks since putting in the request. Does the A49 work with Waveform or does it not? It works with EVERYTHING else!

That might free up the Main driver to be used as your MIDI in

Close enough for me to buy you a coffee! Under Control Surfaces I had to deselect Komplete Kontrol A and leave it with no assignment. Then I disabled Komplete Kontrol A DAW under MIDI devices and enabled KOMPLETE KONTROL A49 input under MIDI Devices. Now the A49 shows up in the track as an option for assignment. Yay!

Hey, it's been three weeks from putting a support request in with Tracktion and no answer, so they should be paying you!
