Midi out is possible but it only generates the sequencers and not the notes, maybe it's possible within falcon but I guess you have to be an expert then, Falcon is huge. It is however possible to use falcon oscillators or other samplers instead of the internal Mosaiq samples. But at the end there is no point to use that, Mosaiq already has an extensive library and the cool thing is to use separate samples for each chord slot. My only request would be to change the chord slots by selecting a chord on top of the chord learn, which is already a nice feature. I think Mosaiq is quite a fun application to use. Will probably use it in my next tracksacer wrote: Mon Feb 17, 2025 9:41 am Yes midi out would be cool, I can’t add the midi out in edit page.
I bought mosaic because I thought it was easy to play other falcon libraries like vintage vault - but I wasn’t able transfer the midi. The only thing that works is midi file export, that doesn’t flexible react to my input notes.
Also it would be cool to share these midi chords and progressions to all falcon libraries, so that I can select them in edit page, address them as presets if I own mosaic

I want to hear how you did that.
I listen to philosophers and mathematicians and physicists on YouTube but never find programers explaining stuff.
I obviously don't understand everything but, I get to hear how and what they think.
Were there a few avenues to accomplish this?
Only one? Was a new method or idea needed?
What was the technical terminology?
Talk to us like we are interested! We are! And we are proud of you and the physicists and mathematicians.

There is not much to say. You can just toggle a slot in keyboard mode so the other won't play.
Each sample of the selected slots will then play in Round Robin fashion or all together.

To be honest I am not very impressed about the update.
Its kind of they tinkering an option to use the sounds APART of the engine but without any integration into the concept.
Then I would have preferred a completely second player instrument OR of course a real INTEGRATION into the concept so that for example 7 of the instruments play following the conept and one could be played as playable instrument but integrated.
I think the main problem is that while making their concept they are very fixed on what they thought would be it (which in a way it is) but closed to many doors already for later devellopment.
This 1.5, to be clear, for me is more patchwork to get some new users but no really devellopment of the concept.

I find you a bit harsh. This open lots of possiblities especially with the different round robin mode which bring stuff that would be quite tedious to do with a regular sound player.
We were wondering about a specific instrument preset for this but voted against as it won't bring more and just add complexity when you want use the same sound you already use. (here, you can just duplicate your track and switch the mode)

Yeah I still can't get anything useful out of Mosaiq even after the update, it's all just weird squishy random sounds with no real pitch or key. But I'm assuming this thing is aimed at a different target audience I guess, I feel kind of stupid tbh that I can't even figure out how to use it haha. But maybe I'm not that smart anyway so there's that.tatanka wrote: Fri Apr 25, 2025 8:48 am To be honest I am not very impressed about the update.

Hey, one thing I couldn't find out: is there a way to IMPORT own chords? Just like playbox, if I want the same chords inside mosaiq? A way to drag chords into mosaiq slots?

Not exactly like in Playbox, but there's a "learn chord" button. I think you just need to teach it one chord at a time.compactus wrote: Fri Oct 10, 2025 12:28 pm Hey, one thing I couldn't find out: is there a way to IMPORT own chords?
