These pedals have been modelled countless times in various Guitar Amp modelers like Helix and Amplitube so It will be interesting to see how they compare. Personally I havent found a lot of use for single pedal emulations outside of my Guitar Sim.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I hope they release some more of the older, discontinued pedals such as the BF-2/HF-2, CE-1/2, PS-2/3, and even the RV-5 for its modulated reverb setting.

It seems a downright crime that they wouldn't release the CE-2. I only looked briefly and thought they did ("blue pedal = CE-2") but now I see it's the CS-1. Who needs a compressor pedal ITB?braincandy wrote: Fri May 16, 2025 2:14 pm I hope they release some more of the older, discontinued pedals such as the BF-2/HF-2, CE-1/2, PS-2/3, and even the RV-5 for its modulated reverb setting.
Luckily, Audiority has killer models of the CE-1 and CE-2 with no weird subscription required. And they sound great with some modern features!

And most of these offer little to no value for synth players outside of perhaps electric piano emulations or throwing heaving distortion on something like a 303 for acidSLiC wrote: Fri May 16, 2025 8:30 amThese pedals have been modelled countless times in various Guitar Amp modelers like Helix and Amplitube so It will be interesting to see how they compare. Hard to see any guitarists getting a subscription for these when full featured Amp Modlers exist, and don't see how useful this would be for most synth players
If they want to have pedals in the lineup pedals like the RV-500 reverb pedals, DD-500 delay, and MD500 Modulation pedals would be far more attractive

Just about everything about this is mind boggling. No BF-2? PH-1 instead of PH-1r? Subscription only?Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Fri May 16, 2025 2:49 pmIt seems a downright crime that they wouldn't release the CE-2. I've been demoing the BOSS Effects Pedals a bit, and I have to say, I'm not terribly impressed.
Audiority Distortion 1 sounds better than Roland's DS-1. The Scream from Cytomic on the SD-1 mod sounds better than Roland's SD-1. As much as I love phasers, the PH-1 is too limited without the r. Of all the pedals here, the one I like best is actually the CS-1 Compressor Sustainer.
Even still, if they added a BF-2 and let me buy it, I probably would.
But there is just no way in hell I am going to rent this. They are out of their minds.

yeah audiority is my fav pedal emu supplier. Their EHX stuff and that MXR 117 flanger are really nice as well. And Pyros is my goto 909 kick destroyer
Roland should release the spv, sph en sbf (and svc) rack units....
and the vt-1 (my fav insert when ordering a pizza lol)

I don’t think they allow that, but you can get it during their Play4Life sale for $99.

Oh ok, I’m in the US. Usually that sale is around December.SMGM wrote: Mon May 19, 2025 7:10 pm Roland licence transfer is allowed within the EU.
When is the Play4Life sale?
