Did Roland model them or did they get a third party to do it?

By the way, Roland, Klaus Schwab resigned. We no longer need to own nothing and be happy. You can sell to us without subscription.

There is also usually one during what is summer for us in the Northern half of the world, our Aussie mates can consider it a winter sale

Last year it was in June

Anyone know where to get the new 1981 bank for the Jupiter 8?

Roland just put up a video, I thought at first they were the original 1981 patches in Preset Bank A but the video shows there is a new and seperate bank called 1981. Seems I have the latest version of everything, so I'm perplexed re where to get this.

For some reason the link to the appropriate time in the video isn't working, it's at 24 seconds in.

Doesn't Zenology Lite work with any free RC account? I had uninstalled it a while back. Now it won't authorize after I installed it again. Maybe I am forgetting some sort of info on that..?

I did update to the latest version of RCM today, but am not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Since it doesn’t authorize, it plays in Demo mode.

you don't need to reinstall.

you just need to exit and restart RCM until it decides to actually update the content. even if you use the Refresh button at top, it won't update to the latest releases until you have exited and restarted.

RCM is THAT stupid.

UPDATE: Yes! First restart it found an update it previously hadn't seen, got it now.

Just a follow-up to my previous post...I uninstalled/reinstalled RCM and then it let me authenticate Zen Lite, even though D-50 and XV-5080 had no issues.

As always, the guys at Roland Cloud never miss an opportunity to mess things up.
Would I purchase these BOSS pedal VSTs? Hell yeah.
Would I rent them and never own them? Hell no.
Also would be nice if they added the TR-2 pedal, one of the best tremolos ever created.

and again, how stupid is RCM?

well, I am running v3.1.15 and I click on "News" at the top. On the website it takes you to, it announces RCM 3.1.16.

so I drop back into RCM and go to My Library...but no update to RCM is shown. I hit "Refresh". Still nothing.

so I take my own advice and I exit RCM and start over. STILL NOTHING.

after all these years, even the most basic things seem beyond the abilities of whoever is programming this POS.

(it's actually impressive in a hot-snow-falling-up kind of way

)
