Maybe, but there are quite a few UAD plugins I wouldn't mind having (there always was something more important than mixing plugs), and most of them are in the offer, so for me this one is a no-brainer.

Just a month ago I paid $99 for the four amp sims (which I thought - and still think - was a great deal). I would much rather have waited for this deal!

It would be great if he just recreated Absynth (or at least something very similar), but called it something different to get around any legal issues that might arise with NI.

It would be great if he just recreated Absynth (or at least something very similar), but called it something different to get around any legal issues that might arise with NI.

Synestia is close to the fx section of Absynth, combine that with a granular synth with breakpoint envelopes (eg Quanta, Omnisphere) and you can probably get reasonably close sonically.

Nope, they have not given away half of these 30 plugins you can choose from for free - not at all even nearly... and even if, that would still leave you with 15 others which you could pick your ten from.

From what I can tell, 8 out of the 30 have been given away- but in this number I'm including the LA-2A collection and Analog Machines, both of which are more fully-featured than the ones given away, and Galaxy Tape Echo, which was only just over 6,000 licenses that were gone in less than a day. So I think it would be more accurate to say 5 of the 30 were given away.

Didn't mean to rustle anyone's jimmies. My comment was really about my own difficulty picking 10 from the list. As I said, it's the best deal on a UAD bundle I've seen. It's just not a slam dunk for me.
