josduyduc offered to sell me his Reason 11 Suite license; I agreed and we settled on a price. He then transferred me the license for a different piece of software I didn't want, Reason Standard 12, without consulting or informing me, which I then needed to transfer back to him. After a few DMs he either ignored or responded to with odd vagueness, he explained that he'd decided he'd rather keep 11 Suite and sell 12. He seemed untroubled that this hadn't been our agreement.

josduyduc didn't take undeserved money and I don't consider him a true scammer or want him banned. But his lack of business ethics, insufficient communication, and unreliability make me recommend against trying to do business with him.

bravedog initially contacted me pretending to be clueless — claiming he didn’t need Reason 11 Suite and was only interested in the Persec synthesizer. He offered me $80 for both Reason 11 Suite and Persec, which I declined. Later, he increased his offer to $150, and I accepted.

I submitted the license transfer request, but then I remembered that Reason 11 Suite includes 8 paid synthesizers and plugins. I decided I’d rather keep Reason 11 Suite and upgrade to Reason 13 Suite instead. So I contacted support and asked them to cancel the transfer.

I also had a license for Reason 12 / in versions 12 and 13 they no longer write Suite, as it was in 9-11 (11 Suite, 11 Standard) but for some reason bravedog says that this is standard
I transferred the Reason 12 license to his account. However, he later said he didn’t want it and sent the license back.

I explained to him that I was keeping Reason 11 Suite along with the purchased instruments.

I’d also like to point out that I initiated the transfer without receiving payment first, because if he hadn’t paid, I would’ve simply reclaimed my license — so I wasn’t worried at all.

After that, acting like a rat — certainly not like bravedog — he went whining on the forum

The above is mostly just made up. Actually the DMs show I responded to his post offering Reason 8 and 9 asking what they included, I'm seeking Grain and Parsec - 9 and 8 have neither. [Also Europa but during our DMs I got this through separate purchase of Lite 10] He then spontaneously offered me Suite 11 which includes both and we agreed on $150, the only amount I ever offered or discussed for anything from him - check the DM record, josduyduc! Then after you canceled the transfer when it was unclear if transfer would include Parsec, you offered me Reason 12. I said I wasn't interested as it was worth no more than $75 to me - this wasn't an offer but a refusal of your offer of 12. Check the DMs!

This is so confused it's hard to respond to, except you confirm you agreed to a sale, then just decided not to do what was agreed.

Reason 11 Suite contains licences for Parsec and other synths normally separate purchases; no other edition of Reason does so, except that an owner of Reason 11 Suite upgrading to 12/13 retains the synths so 12/13 acts like a Suite. 12/13 Suite doesn't exist unless Suite is in the license upgrade chain but the 12 Standard you transferred me in lieu of what was agreed, without consulting or even informing me, had been upgraded only from Lite 10 and contained only that in the chain so didn't carry any of the Suite licenses. And you know this, or you would just have kept 12.

No, after Reason confirmed Suite 11 transfer would include Parsec and the transfer was to be reinitiated, you baited and switched without giving notice, then when I returned the unwanted Stabdard 12 licenses cagily were vague about whether you were continuing with the correct transfer, then ignored my followup question message, then after a 3rd query finally 'explained', then ignored followup DM.

My earlier feedback was quite restrained considering your flaky and unethical behavior. I specifically said I didn't consider it a true scam or want you banned. That's changed.
