Well, I tried something else. I tried buying the full version at full price. It still wouldn't let me buy it. Says I already have a license. But when I try to download the license it says I don't have a license.
This is about as messed up as it gets.

Sorry I just woke up (gmt +3 timezone) It's not messy, it doesn't let you purchase because you have an "Everything Bundle Upgrade" license in our system. But since that was an older version, the system got mixed up and didn't let you authorize. So, I added a new Everything Bundle license to your accont and now you should be able to download/authorize SynthMaster 1/2/3 and download all our expansion banks.wagtunes wrote: Thu Jul 24, 2025 2:08 am Well, I tried something else. Sounds good.kv331 wrote: Wed Jul 23, 2025 10:12 am Hi guys,
Since we have low revenue numbers for SynthMaster 3, I am wondering if majority of our existing/potential users really need advanced editing features or just good presets. So, I am currently brainstorming on the next version of SynthMaster Player (SynthMaster 3 Player). Here's the feature set I have in mind:
1. will read SynthMaster One/SynthMaster 2/SynthMaster 3 presets just like SynthMaster 3.
2. will come with all factory presets of SynthMaster 1/2/3 (4500 presets so far)
3. users won't be able to edit inside layer modules & modulation sources, but other than that, users can edit all parameters (just as layer voice, layer zone, layer sequencer/arpeggiator, layer fx)
4. users will be able to load existing presets into layers just like SynthMaster 3 to create more complex patches.
As for modulation editing, I haven't made up my mind yet though.
As for price, MSRP: $49
If you have any comments on this, let me know.
Thanks!
Bulent
Also as a SM user i would love to see various distortion presets for a quick go.

I think that I understand your motives doing so.kv331 wrote: Wed Jul 23, 2025 10:12 am Hi guys,

Businesswise this seems to be a reasonable way to go.
As a user who is interested in both, good presets and creating my own sounds, I can only personally step back and wish you all the best and hope that you will be profitable in the future.

Bulent, I have a complaint for you. As a long time everything bundle owner (who is enjoying SM3 quite a bit) you haven't given me a single opportunity to give you more money! Not for SM3, and not even for the new SM3 preset packs! This has to stop!
I know you hear it all the time here, but you really are giving too much away. Please find a way for users like me to give you our money! Serum at least had a donation button for the free upgrade.
Best wishes, and thanks for all the amazing work!

I agree with Zippo. I got SM3 for nothing. This is wrong.

Hallo,
Re Synthmaster Player 3: The idea is good - I use the Synthmaster Player 2 more than the the full version, also for iOS, a version for iPad would be a must. Easy use for mouse or fingers i.e keep it simple !!!
Whether this will change your fortunes, I can't say

I agree with you both. Bülent, please add a donation option to your shop. It would be sad to see you going out of business.

I have to agree as well. I feel like I got off way cheap on SM3, even though I was an SM2/SM1/Player owner and bought a number of expansion packs. I bought SM3 for $29 US when it was in Beta. You look at Serum. They will friggin' NEVER discount it. They charge what they charge (which I think is too much) and let the chips fall where they will. I'm sorry the revenue is not what you expected but I'm not surprised. I could write pages and pages on this but for me, as an older professional musician, it's not about some obscure granular feature I'll never use, but more about what we called "bread and butter" sounds for gigging. Yeah, I want the bells and whistles too, but give me good pianos, electric pianos, basses, analog synth pads and brass, drums, etc...It seems you said at one point that SM3 would have all the DX-7 algorithms and would be able to read DX-7 sys ex files. Well there you go. Give me the famous 10 or 11 DX-7 sounds. The Electric Piano, The 2 basses, The marimba, what else? The sh*t every producer in the 80s was using. Same for the analog synths. My wallet/credit card is out for that kind of useable value. I love Dash Glitch, but the sh*t he talks about is so obscure and advanced, I can't see ever using most of it. I wish I could but.....Look SM3 has some AMAZING features which no other VST has and which would be REALLY USEFUL on live gigs and such. Exploit that. Where guys actually make money doing music. Not sitting in bedrooms making YT videos. Not dissing that, just saying it's not usually much of a revenue generator. Will be interested to see where this discussion goes.

Feedback routing is such an exciting feature. I've been demoing and plan to buy now that I'm reading this! Thanks for being willing to incorporate flexible feedback routing. It's one of the features I go back to Massive X for and having it in Synthmaster would be that much more powerfulkv331 wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 1:36 pmPlease create a modulator, then you should be able to connect it to the osc fm/pm am/rm inputs.wintoid wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 7:08 am Still struggling with FM routing in Synthmaster. Video link here:
Right now, only modulators (with mono output), can be connected to osc inputs (which are also mono). I can change that behaviour, but don't want to break any backwards compatibility.
[...]
So basically,
Modulator input/outputs are Mono
Osc inputs are Mono
Out outputs are Stereo
Filter inputs are Stereo (although I would love to add Mono input support for filters, just need time for this)
Filter outputs are Stereo
Waveshaper inputs are Stereo
Waveshaper outputs are Stereo
and you can not create feedback paths except for Modulators (they can have self feedback). When I have time, I will sort out this feedback issue as well so that you'd be able to create feedback between multiple modules. (which I believe is a cool feature)

Guys, thank you so much for being so thoughtful. We are not that desperate yet. But we would really appreciate if you could recommend our products to your musician friends

Hi guys, we're working on SynthMaster 3 Player. I was originally planning on improving the UI/UX, but since our last poll on our facebook users group showed that most of our users use presets, we decided to release SynthMaster 3 Player first before making fundamental UI/UX changes. (This is crucial for our survival
)
As you see from the screenshot, there is no Layers tab. This is the main limitation with SynthMaster 3 Player. You can not edit inside layers. i.e. you can not edit/add/remove oscillators/filters/waveshapers/modulation sources. But you can edit layer parameters such as keyboard/velocity zones, layer/global fx, arpegiators/sequencers, layer voice parameters, etc.
SynthMaster 3 Player will come with all factory presets from SynthMaster One, SynthMaster 2 and SynthMaster 3 (around 4500 presets so far). We are also working on adding macro knobs to presets automatically if they don't have any macros assigned. (this will at least work for SynthMaster One presets). I am expecting to release SynthMaster 3 Player with SynthMaster One presets that have macros assigned and levels normalized.
We are also eliminating the license key file dialog that pops up when your DAW was scanning SynthMaster 3 / Player. This was causing issues for some users, which was bad for UX. So, the dialog now shows up after SynthMaster 3 / Player user interface shows up.
