So sorry, I meant to respond to this. What version does it say it's updating to?Examigan wrote: Fri Aug 08, 2025 8:30 pm
I'm not sure if you saw what I mentioned earlier? I saw there was an update for the XV-5080. Do you know what was updated?
Also is there list of all updates done to the RC plugins over time?
The last updates we made were released on June 24th, and that one covered a couple of issues. Fixes for this included: A timing issue in which playback could lag behind incoming MIDI events. A bug where overlapping or “clashing” notes caused playback failures. And a display glitch in version 1.0.5 (XV‑5080) and v1.1.1 (JV‑1080) where recalling an .aupreset would not update the displayed preset name correctly in Logic Pro.
We almost always list these updates on our news page. This one however never made it up there.
To clarify, ACB and ABM are both used differently, but you are correct, we use both of them. I was merely stating that the legendary instruments mentioned, the SH-101 and the Jupiter-4 and Jupiter-8, are all created using ACB technology, which is Roland’s proprietary modeling technology. ZEN-Core emulations use ABM, which is less CPU-heavy. Other companies use similar technology as well, of course. I wasn't trying to say that Roland was the only company that uses this technology, and as I’m sure you are aware, it has been a tool to model sounds for a long time.Gam456 wrote: Fri Aug 08, 2025 7:31 pm Roland use ABM (Jupiter X, Jupiter XM, Zenology Pro) as well and it's far to be accurate
