This piece began as a piano solo that blended a melodic theme with more abstract playing. The piano piece evolved into a drum solo. I added bass to the first half and piano and bass to the second half.

"In Between": Fantastic instrumental music – a track to enjoy!

As you write: It initially remains a pure piano + harp - piece that then undergoes
a metamorphosis - and slowly changes. What I like best: the lively dynamics and
the live character of this very acoustic performance. It has many playful elements
that stimulate the imagination. And it has louder, groovy parts that make you
want to bob along.

The second part, which begins about halfway through, has a much jazzier, more
experimental character. Even the drums play along here. The second part develops
a very unique intensity. The second part could also be considered an independent
instrumental.

Overall: Fantastic, diverse, lively! :tu:

Marvelous! I love the way the piece evolves.

If I close my eyes, I can imagine I'm sitting in the Elephant Club in Austin, listening to a jazz trio performing live.

Thanks! I have never been to Austin but will look up the club if I go.
