This is a collaboration I did with a friend from another forum. It's a guitar solo that he gave me to add a few additional backing instruments. It's based on a song that Bill Evans wrote for Miles Davis called 'Blue in Green'. We both made our own changes so it doesn't really sound much like the original song anymore. I tried adding a muted trumpet and piano, but they just got in the way of his excellent guitar playing. Thanks to 'pbelgium' from Audiobus Forum (now Loopy Pro).

Edit: This is mixed way down. There is nothing wrong on your end. I just thought it sounded better for this type of material.

"Blue in the Green" - your version "Cool Blue": A very beautiful bluesy
feeling that gets lost in the vastness - and tells a story about it. Just
when you've gotten into it and are enjoying the guitar sounds, the
song is already over. In other words: The song is far too short IMO!
Overall, I like your version – and the way the guitar is played. Well
done!

Thank you so much. All credit to goes a guy from the UK who goes by the name pbelgium. His name is also Paul! I told him that I really liked his interpretation. I remember jumping back and forth between him and Bill Evans. In my response to his post, I suggested that he add an acoustic bass and make it a duet. He surprised me and gave me a link to his track and said... have fun. I did. Have a great week!enroe wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 7:42 am "Blue in the Green" - your version "Cool Blue": A very beautiful bluesy
