On a side note. What's your opinion on the OP-X PRO-II(3) you used in a previous tracks?

I love it. I have used it on quite a few tracks and it gives me exactly what I'm looking for when I need a certain sound. The earlier version nailed my cover of Howard Jones' "New Song"The Noodlist wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 7:48 pmThat's a nice composition. wagtunes,
Listening to New Song: no small task to cover Howard Jones. In a (mostly) cover band in 1985, we played a Howard Jones song (Things Can Only Get Better), and I was the only keyboard player, and we never played with sequencers or tapes (not easy for the drummer to follow stuff like that), so it was OK, but had various missing synth parts. I am quite impressed with how well your cover turned out. Some of the synth parts sound very similar to the original. Howard Jones has a rather unique voice, and you got surprisingly close to his: very good! Really good cover man! Overall, I think OP-X Pro II (I don't have 3) does the best Oberheim sounds: especially the lead Oberheim synths.

Thanks Aaron. I had a lot of fun doing this one. I guess this means you've got a new song yourself. LOL. Will check it out shortly. Oh, check out I Can't Find My Way Home the next time you listen to something. I think you'll like it.aaron aardvark wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 5:13 am wagtunes,

Congratulations on the album! This song is a fitting final track. One of those songs you sway back and forth too with a pint in hand.wagtunes wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 9:58 pm 10th and final track from my upcoming CD "Misgivings And Other Dirty Deeds"

wagtunes,
"I Can't Find My Way Home": very nice vocal chorus intro. Instrumentally, everything sounds like authentic intruments, and sounds very good! The vocals sound like your natural singing voice to me, even if they are at least partially A.I. Regardless, the vocals sound very good. The singing and lyrics are heartfelt, and made me feel a bit emotional. I can easily picture this playing on Broadway (not that I have ever been in New York), or its equivalent elsewhere. Though I also felt the song was somewhat Beatle-esque (which is good). Life is a challenge for everyone, though spiritual progression is part of the reason we are in this mortal existence. No one enjoys trials, but they can be an opportunity for spiritual growth. In most cases, the One up above decides when we will pass on to the Other Side. Anyway, as usual, very good song and recording! I plan on sending you a private message before long.
