to create it would be first enough if the notes scaled(min, maj etc) as a layer in the background like in image editing software.

I also would appreciate that very much - and asked for any multi-track view years ago. Beside a tempo-track that's what I miss most in MuLab.
Atm. the only workaround I know is to open tracks in "windowed mode", so you can arrange 2 or 3 track above each other. But then - if you are not careful enough - you can get different zoom settings in each of the tracks, so that notes are not aligned properly anyway ...
For me it would be ok to select a "general zoom" option to get the same editing position in every track when selecting tracks within the Edit-View.

Mulab 10 is out, and this is still not implemented. one of the reasons i dont use mulab as a daw. cant understand why a feature so important is ignored for other less music productive features.

this would be nice and work great on other (grouped?) tracks toonenneb wrote: Mon Mar 06, 2023 12:09 pm I also would appreciate that very much - and asked for any multi-track view years ago. Beside a tempo-track that's what I miss most in MuLab.

i always need to go back & forth to 'layers' of audio streams when editing a single take (bass, gtr, keys, drums, ...)

Note that you can shift+doubleclick a clip to open its editor in a floating window. That way you can stack several editors vertically and do parallel editing.tiger001 wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 9:05 am this would be nice and work great on other (grouped?) tracks too

I agree it would be nice if this editing method would get a more streamlined/automated option so to make it easy to select some clips and open their stacked editors with synced time bars.
I understand there also is the idea of layering editors, i.e. 1 editor is active and others are shown in the background. Can't comment on that for now as it needs research.
