I use Cubase, and could get issues, it's in a specific mode. Fix coming in 2 days!Sampleconstruct wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 11:49 amOut of curiosity I just checked Ultra in Cubase 15 and the LFOs work as expected with transport running, so this might be a bug linked to the AU version of Ultra.Sampleconstruct wrote: Thu Jan 08, 2026 4:23 pm Can we expect an update soon fixing the LFO problem in Logic?

So the latest version fixes the LFO bug but introduces a lot of crashes when manually creating wavetables from long audio files, I haven't been able to generate a crashlog in Logic yet.
Question: as of now there is no unison mode in the wavetable oscillator, is anything like this planned, sometimes one would like to enrich a given sound by adding detuned voices and spread them out in the stereo field, WT position index offset in unison mode would also be cool. Or has this been avoided due to CPU concerns?

So if you have a big multi-sampled ultrawave, and you play a note in between 4 sounds you'll be looking up the data for 4 wavetables, 2 cycles each, and if stereo, then that's 16 cycles. So having a unison on top of that is maybe a bit much.Sampleconstruct wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 10:45 am Question: as of now there is no unison mode in the wavetable oscillator, is anything like this planned, sometimes one would like to enrich a given sound by adding detuned voices and spread them out in the stereo field, WT position index offset in unison mode would also be cool. We have thought about doing a simple wavetable osc, with only one wavetable, and that could have unison.
There's also unison in the sampler and supersaw oscs

One of my first Ultra patches, a wavetable cello detached layered with a super saw oscillator.

As usual, some mesmerizing soundworks lieber Herr Stockhausen. Overall I can certainly hear an exquisite audio quality in general, call it hifi or cinematic or maybe both. Looking forward to check out the Linux version of this one for sure.Sampleconstruct wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 11:39 am One of my first Ultra patches, a wavetable cello detached layered with a super saw oscillator.

Dankeschön. Ultra does have a rich and distinguished sound to it, quite an all-rounder really. The resynthesis only works well on a certain range of sounds though, like many wavetable synths it fails at resynthesizing more complex and atonal sounds, I still prefer Icarus for these sort of tasks.El°HYM wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 5:01 pmAs usual, some mesmerizing soundworks lieber Herr Stockhausen. Icarus is really still the undisputed king of resynthesis, very true. Glad to see Markus still working on it in the background.Sampleconstruct wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 5:09 pm ...resynthesizing more complex and atonal sounds, I still prefer Icarus for these sort of tasks.

Yes, it is on the list..sm909 wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 10:35 am Hi, ultra_audio could you add MPE support please? I would like to use this synth with MTS-ESP for microtonal tuning. Would that be possible? Thanks!

Post filter you can add tube saturation to the fx bus.ffx wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 4:53 pm Any plans to add a saturation module into the osc signal chain... Maybe pre- and post-filter optionally?
Pre filter (or during filter really) you have drive on 2 of the filter models.
Analog osc has a drive in the bottom right.

Glorious! Didnt want to ask for this as already suggested a Linux version.ultra_audio wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 6:09 pmYes, it is on the list..sm909 wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 10:35 am Hi, ultra_audio could you add MPE support please?
