Thanks, that´s great !
i was refering to the shops page, though. There, that´s different.

I only had just right now time to dig into Ultra ( post a quick check with the demo some time back).
Yeah, within the synth, that´s what finally counts more ;)

I see the sound rating system is only one star/heart.
Would you not like to expand this to something like 6 ?
Now that would be very welcome ;)
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

A wish, FR,....not sure if it´s already doable ?

I´d like to add keytracking (here, called Note as modulator), but to different destinations with a different value scaling vs. note value. The solution -as i understand this Synth- would be to add more than 1 "Note" modulator, right ?

That´d be my feature request if it´s not already doable ! Make it 4 in total. That´d be great.

You Synth cats here, please double me up on that request

jfyi: i understand that this might not be a common thing vs. other synths. Not sure. This synth here would definitly profit from it

I think the solution to this is to be able to adjust the note range per-modulation. It would mean a little adjustable graph in the mod popup. This has been asked for by a number of people so we will add it.

That´s great to hear.....and even better this way !

Another one:
these pop up screens, i have sometimes troubles to close them.
I just click somewhere else in the GUI.......but it´s not allways directly working.
What is the intended way to quit a popup display ?
I miss a "x" ( in the upper right corner)

This is incredible work. Very refined for a first release, and it brings something new to the table. A few somethings.

When I first saw this being advertised, I assumed it was just another wavetable synth, but a well refined and good looking one, to be sure. Your video explaining the Ultrawave osc swayed me to purchase. This is something new, which is a rarity in this saturated market. And for such a new concept, you have done a great job in making the workflow understandable and accessible.

And the stereo features are also unique. Stereo modulation is awesome.

Thank you :) we spent a long time on it. Maybe too long...

They should be dismissed when you click anywhere else. I'll DM you.

Picked it up, loving it so far! Killer synth. It's kind of what I've always wanted - good all rounder, sound quality is top notch, capable of fat warm analog sounds as well as modern digital sounds, can do basses, pads, plucks, and analog leads with equal ease. The effects sound fantastic, filters are legit, and it's pretty on the eyes, which never hurts. I feel great having this synth loud and up front in my tracks. And somehow, it's easier to navigate than most of it's peers in this category of synth. To me, this feels like a proper progression of that Serum class of modern dance music synths, but with what seems like a more hardware sound. I'm really, really impressed.

Request: would love to see more filter warping types, like what Vital has. Whats there is already good, but I'd love to see this really expanded out to get super wild sounds.

Minor side rant: WTF is up with these XLNT guys always making their patches in radically different octaves for the same general bass sounds!? 😂 It's like for the life of them they can't just standardize their sounds to the same general octave! Don't get me wrong, they're great at what they do and I have a lot of love for their work, but WTF bros? Jeez don't make us have to change octaves all the time while demoing your patches, lol.

What kind of warps would you like to see?

I think the XLNT approach is good for people with small controller keyboards. Load a bass sound and be able to play it around middle C. I personally leave things in the same register but I can see the value in both approaches!

Pros:
Reminds me of FXPansion synthesizers
Very fast and robust sample functionality
GUI sections organized logically
Mod matrix a bit cluttered but robust
Decent effects
I absolutely love the sampler section

Cons:
Reminds me of FXPansion synthesizers
Sound is not as full and smooth as some softsynths, can easily get murky/resonanty in the midrange
Prominent, Built in Cash shop makes this seem more like a fast money scheme
Credits for samples make this seem more like a fast money scheme
Credits and Blurb at the bottom of the Presets window make this seem more like a fast money scheme
I disliked having to generate a user account just to trial the software

Final Thoughts:
I don't really need another mega synth, as I own more than I can probably master in a lifetime. But the sampler section really intrigued me. I think that aspect of ULTRA is great. But I loathe when stores are built into a professional tool. Really can you imagine Roland or Korg selling you a workstation then having reminders to buy sounds and how many corporate credits you have in the interface? That's not for me.

Nice, I was about to suggest this too.

I've got a few things that I've noted- any chance of something like Disperser or the new Serum 2 Diffusor filter- all pass stack. Really great for modern zappy stuff- Current for example had it as a warp mode. Another thing that would be great- the oscilloscope is nice, what about a basic Spectrum display too?

Modulation remapping would be super helpful too.

One other thing- looks like with the reverb you can do a low cut in the little EQ box, but it's not available as a slider or in the other visual display part. Not a problem as such but is a bit confusing.

Anyway, really loving this synth. Still need to spend more time understanding how the ultrawave engine works but I've had a lot of success dropping in a bunch of samples and getting really nice tonality across the keyboard with them. Really unique and special synth. I basically don't purchase synths anymore but this one has got me at least RTO. 😎

On that note, I received the 40% discount. If I pause my RTO for some reason, will it resume at that price?

There's a few that are unique to Vital or Serum that would be great:
- Disperser
- Flanger
- Phaser
- Bit Reduction / Quantize
- Serum Sine Fold & Sine Shaper

And since we're talking features / suggestions, a couple others that I think would really add to Ultra:
1- Convolution Blocks for Reverbs and Distortion: obvious examples are convoluation reverbs and amp cabs for distortion, but this also opens up a whole set of possibilities for lofi, etc.

2- Modulating stereo amount for filter, etc: in the filter where we can click the downward triangle and split the filter to make it stereo by offsetting the frequency for left and right, I suggest we make this offset amount automatable. Likewise, any place where there is this offset between left and right, modulating the amount of the offset would be cool.

3- Saving a default Preset of your choice: This one's pretty simple as a request, but would be a nice quality of life feature. As it is, I like the init patch enough, but it's not exactly what I'd want for an init.

Lastly, is there a user manual online? This is (embarrassingly) the first synth I've owned where I really want to learn all the ins and outs and get really familiar with it.

I have to rave just a bit more - I've been producing for a long time, and it's frankly the first synth I feel compelled to play with and program, just because it sounds so good. I'm simultaneously compelled to engage with it, pleased by the sound instantaneously, and not intimidated by the interface despite it being pretty deep. It's crazy how by basically combining the best features of all the major synths and common efx into one package, you end up with something really unique and incredible.

And (!) I really love the way certain features seen in other synths are implemented here. As an example, the sub oscillator is similar to Current's, which I thought was a good idea, but doesnt sound that good to me. Ultra's sounds fantastic. Same has been true among all the features (filters, effects, oscillators) across the synth. The whole thing is such a joy to interact with.

Just wanted to say congrats on your beautiful Synth! The Ultrawave Multi-Sampling is the type feature I've been dreaming about for a while now.
I Keep It Real Like a Home Cooked Meal!

This one exists... right click the header patch name :)
