Sorry no, I'm an Apple user for decades and I don't care at all about Linux.
You cared enough to comment that you don't care at all...
I could swear there's a short circuit that gets installed in the brain when Apple is adopted.

Haha!
Hope you're doing this promotion work not for nothing.
Live long and wealthy.

No more so than the people who use Linux. Linux users are like the Vegans of the Computer world.

How do you know someone is a Vegan or a Linux user? Wait a few minutes and they will tell you

Post

Everyone knows the most vegans are Apple users. It's in the name. :hihi:
Every Apple user I've met have a "special diet" that needs to be shared at the mention of it.
A lot of Linux users still eat whale and puffins.
(BTW, my eldest son is vegan and my youngest son identifies as a "carnivore".
Both use Windows.
I still do things for others on Apples to fix things their Apple support couldn't fix.
And most of them had IQs higher than 130 before they bought it.

Sorry to get back on topic, but something just occurred to me. Native instruments filed for insolvency around the same time as Absynth 6 was finally released and then shortly afterwards Massive X finally got automatable parameters.

Am I wrong here or should NI file for insolvency more often?

IMO we should know by this summer.
The restructuring plan should be public knowledge by then.

My account seems the same as it was. Just gonna chill out about this, we should have some trustworthy info soon, I would like to think. :hihi:

As for consumer level linux, it's the nature of the beast. There is not a pile of cash from profits, that can be used to advertise linux as an OS, so word-of-mouth ads are very common. And the quality/accuracy of such 'ads' varies wildly :dog:

There is also an assumed superiority in some cases, where people who have paid a premium for things belittle those using less expensive means or products. Competition to their purchased status quo is not always welcomed. I've never used a Mac, and used the Directory Opus desktop system on win 7 when last needed, which was around four years ago at this point :hyper: Maybe that will change in the future. I just try to keep the record button a bit warmer than room temperature

I admit to having happily used Native Instruments products daily, just wish the days were longer in both hours and numbers :(

:borg:

an identity defined by choice of OS platform seems so sad.

Recently at the gathering of Anonymous NI Addicts (ANA):
"My name is glokraw and I use NI products daily."
"Dude, tell us more!"
"I can't live without them..."
"We understand."

My statement was mocking my somewhat 'off-topic' post. On those days, I also used Yamaha, Alesis, U-he, IK, Bluecat, and many others. I don't have time to attend all the meetings, but fellow addicts tell me there is new music each week :hyper: :hyper:

I honestly feel like I see 100 people complaining about obnoxious vegans for every obnoxious vegan

Do you think PA, Brainworx and iZotope will survive when NI does not make it?
