Still cannot reproduce, looks totally fine on Windows over here.

Thanks Urs. Is it possible to add a perfect sine shape to the toolbox?Urs wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 10:37 pmDunno what you're talking about... make a triangle, do "Sine-o-matic" and you get an at least -80dB perfect sine...? Requires Precise maths though, which are not required for, say, saws and squares...?exmatproton wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 8:35 pmYou are right. some extra harmonics @ -30dB...hmm.JoeLowery215 wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 6:34 pmIt's not a perfect sine, it's slightly bentexmatproton wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 6:19 pmyou can use the OSC editor to create a perfect 1 cycle sine. The editor has tools for the most basic shapesJoeLowery215 wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 6:14 pm Oh also, why isn't there a curve shape for a pure sine wave? I know you have sine-o-matic but it doesn't seem to work all the time. Especially if you're adding the sine wave shape to small areas
Not mathematically possible. Our sine accuracy exceeds that of any paper I found about reproducing a sine with cubic Bezier splines.JoeLowery215 wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2026 3:37 pm Thanks Urs. Is it possible to add a perfect sine shape to the toolbox?
Sorry, we're not adding any more features at this time. Just bugfixing, performance and UI, and whatever needs to be done to finish this.JoeLowery215 wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2026 3:39 pm I’m still pressing for key following for the Sample rate reducer distortion module so we can have harmonic upper partials that track with keyboard like with the PPG
OK this is governed by a Windows option: Settings->Ease Of Access->Keyboard->Underline access keys when available.tasmaniandevil wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2026 12:12 pmWhich Windows version and DAW did you use?EvilDragon wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2026 10:58 am And just to be sure: this is indeed happening with rev 20977.

Oh that's fine I don't care about the extra harmonics...I just meant the shape you currently have is slightly bent so it would be nice to just have a perfect curve (or whatever you would call it) to draw in Sine shapesUrs wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2026 3:51 pmNot mathematically possible. You can theoretically get closer by using more than 2 curve segments. But I did not bother, because 80+ dB is pretty much inaudible already, and beyond CD quality.
What do you mean by "slightly bent"? A triangle shape can turned into a sine that isn't bent at all.JoeLowery215 wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2026 8:05 pmOh that's fine I don't care about the extra harmonics...I just meant the shape you currently have is slightly bent so it would be nice to just have a perfect curve (or whatever you would call it) to draw in Sine shapesUrs wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2026 3:51 pmNot mathematically possible. Aha. Was about to ask Claude about it today. But the EvilDragon AI works just as well.EvilDragon wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2026 7:40 pm OK this is governed by a Windows option: Settings->Ease Of Access->Keyboard->Underline access keys when available.
Yes, intentional. The MIDI learn overlay is static and wouldn't scroll with the rest of the UI.SamDi wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 6:58 pm 1.) Scrolling during MIDI learn does not work. Is it intended to be changed?
Upsie.SamDi wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 6:58 pm 4.) During MIDI-learning: change of tabs, e.g. Synthesis->Pitches, Pitches->Synthesis, P or S->Presets changes to the new page, but midi learn frames do not update according to the new page.
