Absolutely! What kind of granular synths do you like?
Crusher-X set the bar.
Phase Plant too 😉

Take a look at how Granular is implement on Minimal Audio 'Current' - it sits very well in a similar framework to Ultra (you can have only have so much granular complexity in a multi-osc synths I think, easy to use and blending with the other oscillators is what makes it all work together I think...you probably have half of it done with the sampler oscillator in terms of loading samples, setting loop points etc.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

When will Linux support get added? We are trying to be patient. :)
Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Crusher-X is clearly overkill for Ultra. Check out Refractalizer.

100% agree with this suggestion.
If less is more, imagine how much more MORE will be.

Post

Baby Audio Grainferno or Audio Damage Quanta 2 are probably the best classic granular synths.

Refractalizer is incredible but its emphasis is more on being a multisample based synth with a granular engine.

Sample select modulation is a cool idea worth considering

Crusher-X is clearly overkill. Сould do it just like in Current but with a few minor tweaks.

Pigments does this really well. Also Equator. But pigments lets you load 6 samples and the grains can modulate between samples. Really cool.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. We will research this thoroughly when the time comes :)

i would focus on a "as good as possible" workflow re. that custom wavetable stitchwork VCO thing.
Rather than to create the next thing that wants to do everything in one.

And if "You" have to ask,....for example vs. "Granular", then you`re not the right guy to do it. (not saying "You" did ask ;) )

We are already spoiled. Great Synths have been released recently.
Time to invest, fluffynes, workflow, that will gain again much more weight re. "what the folks will actually like to use"

You have found a specific niche. Your product sitts exactly there. Many of us bought it for exactly that. Make "that" better. Focus mainly on just that, i`d say.

any other "synth" is in ITB land just two clicks away.
It´s not like a SW synth has to be like a Waldorf Quantum or so.

i personally prefer tools who do just one thing.
Like a DX7 + Minimoog + Jupiter8 in one room.
It creates a diversification in my brain and helps to focus.

feature creep might help on sales on the short run. But not on the long one. Just my opinion of course.
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

Is PayPal as a payment option still on the table?

best classic granular synths.
A plugin that's one week old is already a classic? Time flies so fast these days.
