I enjoyed it. It didn't sound harsh to me, a bit on the bright side - but that's something I like.

I have been told that my "music" can be painful to listen to. I felt the same way about The Sex Pistols and Butthole Surfers the first time I heard them. After a while I started to "get it". Thanks for trying!

I only use headphones to mix. Sometimes I push the EQ a bit too far. I usually wait a day or two before posting something, but I think I rushed this one. I might revisit it with that in mind. I appreciate you taking time to listen. Have a great day!

Try the Steven Slate VSX system. This is what I've been doing for the past few months, and I find it extremely useful. I used to spend a lot of time going between different playback devices to make sure my mix sounded right, but now my mixes translate well to everything I've encountered.

I also use a Waves plugin called Curves Resolve. It takes two tracks and analyzes their spectrum, and lets you use that information to favor one or the other, so that there's no excessive buildup in any specific part of the spectrum. It's very simple to use.

Musically, t's a very interesting track in so many ways...loved it!

BUT...

The frequency content is a bit too harsh even for my old ears at times!

41 seconds and afterwards for a few seconds was the peak for me - serious bite in that dangerous 3kHz - 6kHz range...a lot of listeners will find that tough!

It's also quite harsh in the same frequency area at a few other points as well - easy to tweak though!
