Yes, sample import will come in the future. The way I set things up doesn't allow for parameters to be controlled in real-time. I tried to stick to the way the hardware works. All parameter values are discrete (levels from 0 to 127, instead of running smoothly from -80dB to 0dB), so unfortunately I can't expose them for automation. Only the ones you can influence with the controller section.nondes wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2026 5:35 am @sheaf As a TG77 owner for a few years now, very excited to see this come out. Excellent work, I'm really enjoying it.
It would be great if synth controls were also available as parameters in a DAW. Not sure this has been requested already, but hands-on control such as using Bitwig device preset controls would this take to the next level.
Also, did I hear correctly that sample import will come in the future?
It should translate the SY99 waveforms to the right ones, but only if those waveforms are also in the SY77. The SY99 had more waveforms that were not recreated. For the ones unique to the SY99 it defaults to a triangle wave. Or are you seeing some mistranslation that should've worked?sonictv wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2026 9:32 am Is there a chance that SWAYED could use the SY99 MAP for the internal presets? Just wondering. DL'd some SY99 SYX's but it don't seem to get well with SWAYED very well.
Coming today
I wasn't aware that the arrows don't work for everyone. It only works on the preset browser and sysex screen though, not sure if that's it? Otherwise, could you let me know which OS/DAW? I'll look into it.frag wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2026 9:12 am Well guess what, keyboard arrows don't work on every system!![]()
The sound is excellent on this one, but it should have been delayed for a couple of more months. There are too many bugs.
Sorry to hear you're experiencing so many bugs.
Feel free to report any other specific things you're encountering so I can fix them.
