Fantastic synth.
The possibilities, features, and depth, coupled with the amazing visuals and feedback, is second to none.
Congrats on the release.
The only thing that irks me from buying this is the requirements to sign in, and the price.

I guess there will always be sales- Current (one of the closest VSTs I can think of) is often for sale for 99USD (but the retail is 199USDD). I didn't buy it until it was 99 as I had so many similar (Pigments, Serum 2, PhasePlant etc) and I am pretty sure it will be the same for many with Ultra...want it, don't 'need it', price is a tipping point! I just got Zebera 3 (free update) and I hear PhasePlant 3 is coming (will also be a free update), its a very competitive market for new synths, but Ultra is a very good synth with some unique features and it deserves to do well...
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Some of you were getting bad results with the wavetable import system, so we have completely rewritten it!

It it possible that looping starts looping after it has played the sample fully through once?

The next release will have MPE, curve editing for Modulations, and more LFOs and Envelopes.dermage wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 2:30 am any news on the 2 concurrent activations?
it's really annoying having to login everytime i work in my studio.
More logins is planned for the release after that...

Next release sounds amazing. Not a whole lot I'd be hoping for after that.ultra_audio wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 7:46 pmThe next release will have MPE, curve editing for Modulations, and more LFOs and Envelopes.dermage wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 2:30 am any news on the 2 concurrent activations?

Longer term, the only thing that I think could be cool might be allowing the ultrawave on any of the 3 sources, rather than just the first one. I could see a couple resynthesized wavetables being useful in parallel.

This is also planned for the following release, but that's a stretch goal. It's the next big feature though as it is the most requested after linux - which we are also working onEchoes in the Attic wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 8:26 pm Longer term, the only thing that I think could be cool might be allowing the ultrawave on any of the 3 sources...

I'm not sure I follow, wouldn't the end of the sample / ultrawave not transition smoothly to the loop in point?TheMaestro wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 11:24 am It it possible that looping starts looping after it has played the sample fully through once?

Depends on the sample.ultra_audio wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 11:25 pmI'm not sure I follow, wouldn't the end of the sample / ultrawave not transition smoothly to the loop in point?TheMaestro wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 11:24 am It it possible that looping starts looping after it has played the sample fully through once?
Play through the whole sample, then go to the start of the loop marker.
