Acoustica update - v7.7

I notice that there is a new update to Acoustica.
It seems to now have a load of AI guff shoved into it. As I don't use Pro Tools, the ARA integration is not relevant to me.
So I wont be applying the upgrade.

However, I do notice that the dark theme is still mandatory, despite there having being a light theme choice in the previous version 6.
Some of us users actually struggle visually with dark themes, so that's nice ableism there Stian.

I'm using this software less and less.

I'm not seeing anything new AI wise in this. There's added models for the speech to text function but it's all local and that function isn't new, it's been there for a minute. Is there something else you noticed?

There's was a nasty little bug that was fixed that I'm happy about. The Dynamics plugin has been non-functional in wavelab for a good while, that's working again now which is pretty cool. If you use Wavelab, that's a good reason to update.

Maybe because I didn't actually say "a lot of AI". You did that.

TBH - It's the first update I've looked at since the original V7 release. As AI tools are something I don't tend use, I've never really looked at them until now. I prefer to use my ears. I didn't even know they were there.

I don't use Wavelab or the even Acon plugins, but rather my preferred VST effects.

Thanks for your feedback. An optional light theme is planned for Acoustica 8, but most users seem to prefer dark themes, so this will remain the default.

Looooving Acoustica a lot! Feeling the GUI color options though. A preference panel for adjusting the waveform color and background color would already do a lot I feel.
