I've purchased at Best Service a package and in the order was not mentioned that the shipping in Switzerland was subject to an import tax (43 CHF in that case).
Furthermore, DHL left the package on the stairs (I wasn't home) and prepaid the tax without notifying me, only to then send me a text message reminding me to pay. I have no responsibility for this. I believe I have the right—if I choose—to not pay the tax, which no one informed me about, and to return the package free of charge. Best Service doesn't support me in this and makes me pay the return costs, deducting them from my refund. Yet, I'm a loyal customer. This is absolutely not right. I would like to raise this matter with the CEO of Best Service, and I've asked Sandy about it. I await her response. It is a matter of principle and I do not intend to pay anything beyond the price I paid for the product I contractually purchased.
It is right that Best Service CLEARLY mentions - when placing an order - that shipping to Switzerland involves an import tax to be paid and the buyer can decide whether to continue purchasing or not.
I am truly disappointed with the treatment I am receiving from Best Service.
