Hey KVR community!

We are incredibly excited (and a bit anxious, honestly) to announce that Reflection https://reflection-daw.com/ is officially out and fully stable.

We didn’t want to build just "another digital audio workstation." The goal from day one was to create a blazing-fast, rock-solid environment that stays out of your way and lets the creativity flow without the usual technical friction, clunky routing, or endless menu diving. Clean UI, modern workflow, and performance optimized for modern systems.

The Core Idea:

We believe that the best way to grow is to be 100% transparent with the community. No corporate marketing BS, no aggressive subscription traps. Just a solid tool made for music creators.

First things first: go grab the DEMO. Taste the code, feel the friction melt away, see how it breathes on your own machine before you say a word.

We are actively hunting for the heavy hitters, the pro cats, the studio veterans to completely tear this thing apart and stress-test its soul. Give it absolute hell. In return? A full, Pro License on us. No corporate strings, no double-talk—just your raw, unfiltered, brutal truth dropped right here in this thread.

Slide into our PMs if you're ready to ride the wave. Seats are tight, space is finite, and we’re handpicking the sharpest, most cynical minds to dissect the beast.

Best, Jol Tai

Reminds me of Audiomulch (but less internal processors)

Post

OK makes no sense that you only support VST3 on Windows though - surely it should be VST2 that is only supported on Windows if anything?

Post

Yes it starts exactly where Audiomulch left! we have support for Legacy Plugins, of-course - we just cannot use that brand name due the license issues :-) but it does support THAT stuff (Xaymar SDK used - so no issues with the law - just branding) And plugin numbers will grow ultra fast - first Ableton Audio Link, MIDI routing to other DAWs and StepSeq - many more too come!

Post

OK but there's no point in me signing up for it if it only supports Windows ( already have Audiomulch anyway on my remaining Windows laptop)

If you port it to Apple Silicon I'd be interested in an updated Audiomulch with all the internal processors and a working metasurface

Post

then its other issue - so far its Win (legacy and VST3, Clap is commin`) next release - Linux (Lv2, Clap, BlA-BLA) mac with AU may happen but that corpo aplle - makes it hard - so i dunno about that - anyways there is plenty of soft nowadays, that suites your desires :) cheers

### Reflection 1.0 — Modular VST/VST3 Host Morphs Every Plugin Parameter From a 2D Canvas

**Windows 10/11 · Native C++ on JUCE 8 · Free unlimited demo · Lifetime licence from €50 (early-bird)**

**May 28, 2026** — Reflection 1.0 is now available for Windows: a real-time modular plugin host built around one unusual idea — every parameter of every plugin in a patch can be morphed at once from a single 2D canvas.

That canvas is the **Metasurface**. You save snapshots of the whole patch as points on it; as you move the cursor, Reflection blends across every saved state using Natural Neighbour Interpolation (Sibson's method, over a Voronoi tessellation of the snapshots). Hosted third-party VST and VST3 plugins are blended too — hundreds of parameters interpolated continuously in real time, drivable by mouse, MIDI controller, or automation. Every blendable parameter carries anti-oscillation safeguards, so sweeps stay smooth.

Around that engine sits a full modular host: a visual node graph with elbow-routed wires, magnetic snap-to-connect and per-pin activity LEDs, plus a dockable Plugin Rack with masonry layout and per-node metering. Native VST/VST3 hosting, legacy-format compatibility for older instruments, ASIO low-latency throughout, sample-accurate transport, tap tempo and custom time signatures.

**Built-in roster** — every parameter Metasurface-blendable, every editor hand-drawn:

- **Stepping Sequoia** (Pro) — hybrid 6-row step sequencer; each row hot-swaps between an audio one-shot and a MIDI generator. Meter-aware grid (4/4, 5/4, 7/4, 6/8, 7/8, 12/8), six stackable humanisation lanes, swing 50–75%.
- **CloudVerb** — 16-parameter reverb in the CloudSeed lineage, 8 modes, cosine-fade declick.
- **Addicted Synth** — 4-oscillator additive synth; each oscillator can listen on its own MIDI channel for one-node multi-timbral parts.
- **NeoSampler**, **CC Saucer** (MIDI mixer with Ghost Mirroring), **MIDI Detective**, **Pan Mixer** (12-ch, equal-power), **Panorama no Drama**, plus MIDI utilities. New plugins ship free in every release.

**Demo & price:** The free demo has no time limit and no email gate — the Metasurface, node graph, third-party hosting and ASIO all run indefinitely; session save and the Pro plugins are reserved for the paid version. Reflection is **€100 perpetual lifetime**, with **€50 early-bird** pricing for a limited window. All future plugins included.

Would be very interested in this, but am on Mac only. Will there be/when will there be a Mac Version?

Post

i would love to - next one is linux though - mac i simply do not have one to fully test! plus mac may want some weird stuff from developers - its a hungry corporation with closed ecosystem - i did not check that yet 0 / maybe in a while if i find tester who can work as fast as i am - i work 12 hours per day on new release - really fast/ not european "fast" ;-)

Post

Hopefully, you will find a tester. Mac would be awesome!!!

Post

im working on that now (mac) there is another thing - on mac they want yearly paid subscription for signing software - so i cannot deliver for early bird price - 100euro flat only (full price without early bird discount for v.1) is it acceptable? also in the beginning i could deliver without signing but ship with terminal script to sing it locally - would that be acceptable?

Post

Good day! I am excited to try the software, but it will not activate with the code provided after my purchase. The software gives an error stating that the license cannot be written. I ran it as administrator as well, same result.
Lost in translation processing
