I came across these videos that claim with the latest Rufus 4.14 you can unbloat and bypass the TPM allowing you to install Win11 on older PCs. Has anyone tried this ? What were your results/ opinions ?

works fine ( and has done for ages ) - used rufus just last week to upgrade an ancient ( 2013 ) HP 8570P portable workstation from win10 to win11 ( no tpm / no uefi / no secureboot and 3rd gen intel i7 cpu )

the fact microsoft 'enforces' what are purely artificial requirements for win11 on 'consumer' versions is driven home when you install win11 enterprise iot ltsc 24 ( which I've been using on some of the scientific instruments at work to get them off win10/7 ) - the iot ltsc version has minimal reqs ( 4gb ram, no tpm/secureboot/uefi requirment and runs on pretty much any intel 64-bit cpu you can name )

Thanks guys... I've read when installing Win11 you can use your current Win10 Key to activate Win11. Is this correct ?

I've used Rufus for years, countless times. Works great.

That AI-generated video is using misinformation from some time ago. The actual Github thread that the whole thing is based on shows that the Rufus author was mistaken in his claims.
