Hi all! I’m looking for an iPad app that lets me play complex jazz chords controlled by a LinnStrument. I’ve tried Scaler 2 and ChordPolyPad, but neither of them really hit the mark for me. (Apologies if this has been discussed before—I couldn't find a similar topic.)

I don't understand, why not just play complex jazz chords manually?
Or are you looking for inspiration or idea generation?
You might look into something like Rapid Composer I'm sure there are other options.

You're right, the best thing would be to play everything directly on the LinnStrument, but I only started practicing two months ago and progress is slow. I'm just looking for a temporary workaround! I know my theory well and have plenty of inspiration; I'm just limited by my technique for now.

Got it, my best suggestion is the same way to get to Carnegie Hall, practice, practice, practice.

I finally found a promising solution. The PolyChorPad app is highly flexible; you can easily set up your own complex chords on the virtual keyboard. Individual chords can be triggered via MIDI from the LinnStrument. In split mode, the melody (right hand) and the harmonies (left hand) can be well separated. (This layout is a bit similar to an accordion.)
