That's worrying... I hope they aren't adding ads for their subscription services to always-visible parts of the UI.

So lots of AI-powered stuff, some more useful than others, some that requires a subscription. But still no improvement to automation.

Studio Pro still has no ability to change the destination plugin/parameter of an automation track. The best you can do is copy and paste the automation data into a new automation track pointing to the plugin/parameter you want to target. But because automation data doesn't use clip containers like MIDI does, that automation data is just loose in the automation lane, so you have to also set your paste point to the precise position of the first automation data point. And whatever you do, don't accidentally click inside the automation lane in the Arranger, because you will screw up your automation data, since it is exposed and unprotected by a part container.

Now imagine if you are using a bunch of plugins that require heavy automation, like SWAM, and a new version comes out and you have to migrate all of your plugin instances from the old version to the new version, meaning hundreds of automation lanes that have to be copied and pasted into new automation lanes at arbitrary automation points, instead of just reassigning the automation destination, or at least dragging automation part containers to a new automation track.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Yeah, it should work with that. Once you set up mapping the synth parameter to the macro knob with the range assignment, you automate the macro knob instead of the original synth parameter.
I'm not quite sure I follow. I'm talking about automating things like the volume knob and send levels which I may want to shift by a db here and there.
