All three in heavy use here, excellent stuff!
  • Shattered Glass SGA 1566 in oversampled mode is more than similar to Acustica Mystic (minus the comp ofc), very elegant and convincingly tubey.
  • Kelvin is hit or miss – mainly hit though –, I tend to like the darker colours better than the crisp ones.
  • Tupe is hyper-realistic and so versatile due to the pre/post EQ and the very clever parameters for each single section – they seem overkill at first, but once you put it into use you start to appreciate the meticulous attention to every detail. Even the the tube on its own is a wonderful (box)tone unit.

Which of the Sand 4 Bus Pre's do you prefer? There are Bus Pre A, B and C. Trying them now and they all sound good but curious which one you're referring to. Thanks.

Preamp C gives the most saturation and glue.

Thanks, yeah it sounds pretty meaty.

Thanks, I always thought the SGA stuff was pretty good... It seemed to go into heavy distortion without the typical digital breakup, better than a lot of plugins.
A well-behaved signature.
