But hey we're all laughing right?
Is "soon" modern slang for something?
Sorry is this the thread for bitwig or s1 2.6?

They said this Summer.. and they seem to like NAMM shows.. so it seems the most logical choice to me to release it at NAMM. Which is likely why they've been completely quiet from answering questions for a solid month now...
At 2 weeks out one would think there would be a lot more hype noise coming out of the bitwig building.. but you already know they don't do PR/hype the traditional way...
The way I see it, they are a small startup.. they need the most positive exposure they can get (esp after the over hyped, too early PR campaign from a year and half ago) so I think they'll be looking for more distributing and licensing suitors at the NAMM show... with a finished or at least nearly finished product.
There. I've said NAMM five.. no six times now. I pretty much expect something at the show more than 'here is a short video of it functioning...'.

It will probably be basic audio and MIDI editing with the list of features on the web site to be released "in a future version", with closed beta testing starting in 2018.

Or at the very least I'm expecting much more detailed news at NAMM.. perhaps release date and/or pricing info.. pre-ordering maybe..

I guess we all will be like: "After all this time midi editing is pathetic , it keeps crashing, way too slow, too complex, hate the GUI, I wait for v2 in 2016!"
