Audified MixChecker and MixChecker Pro M1 Native as of Version 1.2

https://shop.audified.com/products/mixchecker

Some parts of the webpage say Compatible but I can confirm it is M1 Native.

I’m pretty sure I upgraded to iLok silicon earlier this week

@Teilo
Could you please add SampleSumo's granular audio effect plugin SaltyGrain to the list next time you update it?
It is now available as a Universal Binary 2 plugin (as of the just released version 1.2).
Thanks!
Koen @ SampleSumo

might want to retract that. latest version instantly crashes every host i've tried it in. can't even load it. hard crash. shrug. i'll send an email about it so you have details.

edit: update. issue resolved after reinstall and resetting authorization. for some reason when i migrated the system from old macbook it upset the registration data. all fixed thanks to timely action by the developer :)

Yes, please do so!
It should work just fine (tested by various users, including myself, in several different hosts on both Intel and M1 based Macs). Will follow-up by email.

Steinberg is NOT extending the VST2 license for existing developers to the ARM architecture. Yes, many developers have already released VST2-builds. But Steinberg only just clarified that this is gong away, even for existing products. So blame Steinberg, not NI. NI is ripping off the bandaid now. Other devs will be forced to follow soon enough.

Oh wow? so any VST2 Arm plug in I have, which is quite a few will never be updated?

I had heard before that NI were not allowing new VST2 licenses but weren't stopping developers with existing licenses from using them, any announcement online somewhere or are they "discretely" telling developers?

The only reason I install VST2 plugins is because of Reason. Reason will (according to plan) support VST3 anytime soon, so I will finally be able to delete the VST2 folder. I would prefer for Reason Studio to support AU, though. then I would be able to get rid of VST altogether.
I don't have anything that is not available as AU, so if VST2 gets deprecated then good riddance.... :? I get what all the fuss is about, but it doesn't affect me at all. Lucky, I guess.... dunno

I would say across the board without question VST2 is more stable. This is why Steinberg are killing it, because VST3 was designed first and foremost to work well in Cubase/Nuendo, other hosts have to reverse engineer it like they did VST2, and the amount of work it took to reverse engineer hosting VST2 was for DAWs like Emagic Logic, is why Emagic Logic became Apple Logic, and AU became a thing developers had to deal with in the first place. Emagic were using VST2 for Logic on OS 9 and it was always a nightmare for them, so when they eagerly engaged and encouraged Apple to make their own plug in format, that might have been the tipping point for Apple to set their sites on them.

VST3 has been a shit show here, touchy hosts like DP11 and Live fail about half of them, it's the only plug in that ever crashed Reaper, and it's the only plug in format that routinely crashes in Bitwig's sandboxing. I'm so far not impressed with the supposed CPU releasing it's supposed to do when idling, and back to DP, it registers itself in a super strange way to DP if it has MIDI out from the plug in that it ends up only instantiating on aux tracks?? VST2 doesn't do this.

VST in general right now, (this might change with AU3 dunno?), is the only format that works with MIDI out VSTi's like the Reason Rack, so this is a reason to IMO not be happy about this, VST3 10+ years on is barely fully adopted by most plug in developers, and it's still IMO slightly less stable of a format.

CLAP can't happen soon enough to me.. :?

Where do they say this? On their support page they say this:
Unfortunately not quite yet. We’re working on it at this very moment, and are positively eyeing up the first quarter of 2022 for a release.
I don't know when they posted that and if it needs to be updated,
