iLok is in beta, works fine
Right, so why are developers still citing ilok as the bottleneck holding them back from releasing M1 Native versions of their plugins?

That might have been the case some weeks/months ago but now a lot of plugin vendors that use iLok have native betas available

Because it's pretty much in a beta public release with Soundtoys and Liquidsonics. We should see a flood of iLok native plug ins in the next couple months.

I'm calling this the Ableton effect. No one was freaking out about how long arm-native updates were taking until now. Chill out, people. Your outrage won't make anything come faster.

FYI - SoundID/Sonarworks has a FAQ up on their site that says March 28 for native version of SoundID Reference. Not sure how old or current this notice is

The iLok Licence Manager Beta has updated again today....getting closer to a full release!

Only a guess but I feel that 1st March may be the day it goes live and we get an influx of Plugin updates.

yesterday I exchanged a couple of emails with Baby audio, and they told me that they are estimating to release the m1 version of their old plugins around April.

Ok. I have a very primitive site up: https://asaudio.tech

Two things:
1) Not everything is up there. It will take some time to migrate all the content to the database.
2) This is just a start. I will add search functionality and improve the layout as I build this out, and add more info.

About the site:
This is all database driven, which will make updates easier. It will also allow things like showing all plugins for a given developer, regardless of type.

For those who care: This is a Django site, served via gunicorn and Caddy, running on a Linode VM.

I'm open to suggestions. Please be kind.
