I need to circle back to software but I want to trim things down. Upgrades and subs have all gotten out of hand. I really want to use Live’s tools as much as possible and then stick with a few brands

Yeah I spent a bunch on DAW upgrades, Live was onebof them. Gotta pay the piper eventually. I do wait for a sale though. Unfortunately, they all tend to happen around the same time.

Unfortunately (according to my bank) their Indiegogo site doesn't have the correct security in place, so mastercard won't authorize the payment. Amazon is a little scary with feeding GAS. Analog Heat arrived this morning so now I've got an Elektron family going.

I'm hoping to order the stand this week. I really thought this was going to arrive later in the week, but I can't complain.

I had a hard time not ordering this. Ultimately it helped me make up my mind about getting Analog Heat, but The Godfather looks like a beast.

I was about to buy a Virus TI2 module to replace (or maybe just enhance) my Indigo 2 Redback, when suddenly this baby appeared my local Craigslist for a ridiculous price, so it looks like I’m replacing my KK s61 mk2 instead.

I had a hard time ordering The Godfather (see above). Hopefully that's in hand now ... Analog Heat was on my radar too, but I already have the Electron Analog Drive (not sure if there's any comparison).

Because I was trying to make sense of before buying… the distortion types are named differently (so I would assume they sound different???), and beyond that Heat is stereo, low/hi EQ, built in LFO and envelope follower with external triggering, plus MIDI and of course Overbridge.

I’ve seen some hate for Analog Drive but I couldn’t tell if people using it had realistic expectations of using a guitar pedal. What I read most was that it wasn’t subtle. Not being subtle can be a great thing!

Do you still like Analog Drive and what do you use it with?
