Well... found a bug very annoying

Practically my latest project is having serious problems even if I change a synth or delete a track, previously it was working very well, ok, so, what happens is that if you give it play in waveform it sounds perfectly fine but once you export and render you can heard with some distortions and one or two synths sounds very bad.

I already reinstalled everything without success

In the previous versions was working well, all this on Windows 10

Well... I have some news about this issue, I went to the backups of my project (Thanks for automatic backup!) and I loaded a project (same project with issue) from 5 days ago and... THE EXPORT RENDER WORKS WITHOUT DISTORTIONS!

I don't know what happened but my newest project is now corrupt and when exporting it sounds bad and I can't use it anymore...

Not sure if this is related to the beta or Biotek 2, but latest log:

It's a beta. Never use a beta for anything critical. It exists to be tested for bugs.

We’re at the stage now where this is ready for some beta testing. As usual with beta software please only use this on new, test projects to avoid any issues with critical data and make sure to backup any existing data.

...

Cheers!

Thanks for this, do you perhaps have a log file you could send to us? That way I can grab the fully symbolicated crash log from our servers if you've enabled that option in the "Maintenance" settings page.

It's a bit difficult to know what's going on here. The new Engine options don't change anything about the Edit files or structure and you can use the old engine by disabling the new one. That should render in versions <= 11.1.0.

The only thing I can think of is there's some plugin in the Edit that has some bad state and is playing up?

I'm still working on the same project and with the latest beta and the new engine ON without any issues, so, now indeed it's going to be more difficult to know what happened :hihi:

Any news I will let you know :tu:

Sure, what's the best way to get it to you? Do you need the whole log file? It's too big to fit in a DM.
