A very peaceful vibe, but not sappy or overly sweet. Some nice dark, bittersweet colors here and there. A really mature sound @seismic1

I like how the listener is lulled into a a cyclic spiral of dream land, that after traveling threw a dark forest of shadows and the unknown, you finally emerge into the dawn.
Very nice

Beautiful mysterious beginning. I like the short twist between dark and light around 1:30. Love the way the bass introduces itself around 2:30. I'm also into the way the stereo field grows outward and has an overall wider presence as the track finishes.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

That's a good description. An appearance of calmness and relaxation whilst something more unpleasant is happening in the background.VCA-089 wrote: Mon Oct 23, 2023 3:41 pm Great as always!
It's very calm but mysterious and a bit stressful. A quiet moment before the big journey while starring at the sky...

The music was quite simple in terms of construction, but I think the Absynth sounds really helped this piece to come to life, with a little granular assistance.ecamburn wrote: Sat Oct 28, 2023 10:11 pm A very peaceful vibe, but not sappy or overly sweet. Enjoyable soundscape and calm mood before the stronger end part.
I liked the ambiance and sounds. Good work.

Bathe at your own risk: A sequence of long-held tones creates a fantastically
seemingly heavenly atmosphere floating in space. You can dream away and disappear
into semantic heights ... nice ambient instrumental!
Sure, a few taiko drums would add contrasting elements - and suddenly wake up
the inclined listener.

It's quite satisfying, being able to set up these contrasts in a piece whose composition and instrumentation are both relatively simple. I usually have to resort to less subtle methodseassae wrote: Sun Oct 29, 2023 6:33 pm Beautiful mysterious beginning. I like the short twist between dark and light around 1:30. "...seemingly heavenly..." - That is exactly what I was going for here.enroe wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 7:01 am Bathe at your own risk: A sequence of long-held tones creates a fantastically

quite ambient enough for me ...
moody , vague , uneasy timing ...
upper register elements open the track at just the right time ...
as always , w/ your work , admirable attention has been paid to
mixing and staging ...
