Definitely NOT. The answer is from the develloper "otristan" here and a little clearer in another forum where I asked again and again to get things clear.MADMANJ wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 2:22 pmI also would like to know this. Additionally I am curious how it works in Falcon 3, is it then also possible to use the midi chords on user presets so it's not only sample based but also possible on the falcon oscillators?phalycs wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 1:39 pm I am still wondering if it’s possible to use the Falcon Midi Out module to send the generated midi data (chords, arps) to other VSTs. Has anyone tried this already?
The only thing midi you get out are the bare chords with midi drag and drop. Evrything else: if you like the included sounds or dragging your own samples fine, otherwise even far away from the mentioned kontakt tools where you have midi out, midi drag and drop for all chords AND phrases and the only thing missing (to put one behind the other directly) is on the develloping list.
This is really: take it as it is or leave it (I personally will leave this one).

In the meantime I bought it because the midi-out was not a real gamebreaker to me. I tried the midi-out, it's possible to route the arps and note sequencer to an external synth however it does not record the note changes so it's useless. It is possible to make it run with oscillators within falcon but then it's not possible to choose a different sound per-note. But Falcon goes deep, maybe there are options I have overseen, and most likely there is more to build, like the falcon sequencers maybe. But I am not a Falcon expert, have to figure out these things. Running Mosaiq in Falcon makes the screen way smaller, it's better to run it in the UVI workstation.tatanka wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 6:05 pmDefinitely NOT. Anyway I do like this instrument, it is like playbox but then more options and there are many nice presets, I also like the random generators for fx, samples etc. Randomization is like Cube. Not sure if I would use it in tracks but that does not matter for me as long as I have fun with it.

.. and exactly the same damn drawback as NI Playbox. You decided to copy the negative points too?![]()

Regarding doing the same in Falcon, it's doable but a bit painful. I would have an oscillator per sound and then do the chord itself using either the base note or the pitch of each oscillator (unlink it first).
If you feel adventurous, the scripting feature of Falcon would help this.

I bought it because everything UVI puts out works well with everything else UVI puts out. I never see a new release as strictly standing by itself so for me to a large extent there's value already built in.

I've really been enjoying this! Several of the features feel much more natural to use than the Kontakt tools I made a snarky reference to in the thread title (so I edited the title). I love that the sequences are fully editable and that I can mix and match samples, including dropping my own into the instrument.
I'm already wishing for a second octave worth of slots for more sounds and a second set of modifier keys for more options to mix up and mangle sounds. I'd also like to be able to customize the modifier key options like mix in some more effects sections.
I see Mosaiq as a great idea generation tool, as a creativity injector, and as a way to include musicians of varying skill levels in a jam session.

Melodic MIDI is not very logical as you would'nt be able to play it back, so I don't think we will add this.
Regarding future of Mosaiq by itself, nothing is decided yet.
You already have plenty of presets to have fun with before needing any expansion right now.

I know, that UVI doesn't have demos. I already bought Falcon without testing it (and love it), but for this i would definitely love some kind of demo (or light version or whatever) as i don't know, if this concept works for me at all. 100€ is too much for me if i recognize it has no value to me

You can download chord midi, what I am asking if the other melodic elements (arp, note sequencer etc.) in the preset could be downloaded to DAW to use with another instrument.otristan wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2025 8:15 am Melodic MIDI is not very logical as you would'nt be able to play it back, so I don't think we will add this.

You mean to say that UVI have not even considered/ thought about, to bring out more GENRE SPECIFIC expansions?????????????? Surely this has been considered

Looks like it's only possible to change the main key and not the slot chords itself? only if i adjust note by note or use chord-learn? Do I overlook something? I just want to change a chord for each slot so that the notes will be adjusted itself?

That what the chord learn is for, if you only want to change the chord of one slot.
