Congrats on reaching the release milestone!

(Time to update your sig, maybe! :) )

Looks and sounds cool!

Is there no intro price or discount code?

Has anyone been succeful in importing waves from rom files? Or is this not possible with the demo?

Which format does the rom file have to have?

Congratulations on the release!

I only spent about five minutes with the demo and I already want this synth. The second patch "Adrianne" pretty much sold me. It's just the kind of patch I love, sampled attack with a nice analog filter sweep behind.

I probably wont be able to make the purchase until mid-April but I'm very much looking forward to digging deep into Swayed. Well done. :tu:

DCrown wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2026 8:48 am Congrats. Nice. I m demoing, is there a way to switch off that terrible reverb on many presets?Could not find. The quality is very bad and way too much reverb on some presets.
The 3 dots in the top left corner open a menu with a "Bypass FX" option. If you enable this, the entire effects section will be bypassed, and this persists between preset switches.

If you just want to turn off the reverb you'll have to go into the effect setting of the preset itself. It's in the COM screen (top right) -> Effects tab.
Thanks. I like your synth, but dislike reverb a lot. So each time I have to turn volume of reverb of a preset to zero, sometimes there are even two reverbs. It is very bad for a fast workflow, an option to turn off reverb would be great.
Why is the quality of reverbs so bad?
Even old Xpand2 has better effects.

I wish you all the best with your synth. I tested every preset, it might be a nice addition to someone who has no Yamaha hardware synth. When I compare it to my Yamaha S90, S90 is by far superior, presets and effect quality and I even think Xpand2 sounds better and gives me more good presets I can use in a production and Xpand2 are samples afaik!

Would it be possible to add a "Bypass Reverb" option? I think most people would want to have the other effects.

The original SY77 had a very bad reverb, so this is a great emulation just fyi :)

Well, even though I never had the original, that's what I thought, but c'mon you can optimize a software emu!
Did the sound please you when you developed this plugin?

Can you recalibrate the global tuning? I can’t see this as an option in the manual.

Thanks everyone! :)

The demo can import them too, it's not restricted there. They need to be in the format that the original hardware uses. The sy.factory software can write these files.

I tried to recreate the reverbs of the hardware as best as I could, and it was well known for having very lofi reverbs.

I might add an option to switch to higher quality reverbs if this turns out to be a deal breaker for people. That way you can choose between a more authentic crunchy sound, or a more usable modern sound. I'll have to think about it.

The point is, for people who are looking for authenticity, this is EXACTLY what needed to be done.

You're asking the wrong person, but as an emulation, the goal has definitely been reached :P
