Also confirm Korg plugins work fine on Win10. As for Win11, I upgraded to Win11 from somewhere on Github (can't remember the link now, should be findable). It gives you the full Win11 for PCs that are supposed to be incompatible without having to fiddle about in esoteric settings etc, just the usual upgrade method. It's worked perfectly for me and I'm no programmer or PC nerd, completely the opposite.
EDIT: FlyBy11, renamed to FlyOOBE or something like that. It'll guide you through installation, and there are YT vids around...

Hi Turnface, thank you very much for your confirmation, thank you also for your Heads up concerning the Trinity plugin, greatly appreciated!tumface wrote: Sun May 31, 2026 2:50 am The Korg plugins work fine on Windows 10. The TRINITY plugin uses a lot of CPU, so your i7 4970K might struggle a bit.

I used that method and Windows 11 ran fine for a while. Had to update a few drivers and then even the secure boot reported no problems. But 3 months later that laptop would consistently freeze about 10 minutes after starting up and I had to get a new one anyway.IvyBirds wrote: Sat May 30, 2026 2:50 pm Pretty much every PC that came with windows 10 can be upgraded to Windows 11 even if the Microsoft auto upgrade tool says it can't
You just have to tweak a few settings
That being said, my main PC which Microsoft deemed worthy of the Windows 11 upgrade is now reporting an expired boot certificate and wants me to take action. I have yet to look into this but it seems way too complicated for the average user. The PC still works fine though.
Edit: Regarding the boot certificate, apparently one just has to wait until Windows update renews it.
