Yeah, me too... And I wouldn't mind even bigger knobs and font sizes. Not all of us are 20 years and have good eyes...
Nevertheless, as I am still looking for a versatile but easy to use drum synth, I'm gonna give it a try.

35 € should be ok, I mean, this is what people pay in one or two months for their all-flat-mobile-connections-with-the-newest-hyper-phone-that'll-be-obsolete-in-two-years...

It is simply not possible to pack all views of one sound in a single view without overwhelming the user with a HUGE interface. We are talking about 9 graphical envelopes and +/-100 controls in one view!

THAT'S a LOT OF KNOBS!

I feel overwhelmed already.

no chance of a sequencer?

I know you're already working on the next version of the GUI but I tried to fit (almost) all controls on one page. I must confess it's really crowded and maybe too overwhelming but on the other hand (if you know what you're doing) it's really helpful and fast to work (that's what I always liked about Drumatic 3)
but what I always missed, was the direct volume and pan knob for every channel

Anyway, you made a really nice drumsynth with a great sound so keep it going on...

@CapDan(X) Thanks! To be honest, I think it's a bit too much for one screen. I'll see what I can do to make the GUI as clear and fast to edit as possible.

@analoguesamples909 No sequencer... You'll load it in a sequencer that's 100 times more powerful anyway!

Instead of putting more and more knobs into one big screen, here's a little suggestion for version 4.1 or 4.5, don't know how your roadmap looks like.

What about a global "Easy Page"? Just the levels and pans of each drumslot and then just a few "macro" knobs like cutoff, attack and release altering the filters and times of all envelopes of one drumsound in a relative sense to the stored patch settings.

Just my 2 cents.

@pocvecem

Might be a good idea for a later release indeed!

Just tried the demo... :hail: The sound is second, to none! Great work!

heres another idea for all controls/least space...

how about automatic graphical env view switching?

ie; whenever a knob is moved for a certain env, it shows you that env. in its
current state.. move a diff env knob and it shows you that env state in the
same window.... just a thought.
HW SYNTHS [KORG T2EX - AKAI AX80 - YAMAHA SY77 - ENSONIQ VFX]
HW MODULES [OBi M1000 - ROLAND MKS-50 - ROLAND JV880 - KURZ 1000PX]
SW [CHARLATAN - OBXD - OXE - ELEKTRO - MICROTERA - M1 - SURGE - RMiV]
DAW [ENERGY XT2/1U RACK WINXP / MAUDIO 1010LT PCI]

If you can organize it in two pages, then switching between the pages with the Tab key, would make it a very fast working flow.
Or if we assign shortcuts to the different sections (tabs) would be another solution for workflow.

I think might be able to fit the controls in a one page per sound interface.
The only thing that i have tabbed now are the envelopes.
I'll post a preview when it looks a bit better than i have now ;-)

Well, CapDan, I think your version is quite good, and if one arranged all the knobs and such on a grid and worked with a little color to separate the sections, this I could grow accustomed to.
But hey, as always with GUIs, there are as many opinions as users...

That sounds great! Looking forward to it. I'm really enjoying Drumatic, it's quickly become my favourite synth percussion plugin.

@CapDan(X): thanks for your effort with the mockup. I think it's a very workable layout, and with some tweaks would work nicely with the sharper UI style e-phonic previewed recently. I also like your idea to overlay the envelopes, this would make synchronising envelope interactions a cinch.

The release trigger problem has been fixed. Great! The sound is very massive, strong, big, fat (I suppose), ... but the presets are very Dance orientated. What about other styles like spacy, electronic, ambient, atmosperic, film music, et cetera? Do they have to make their own sounds and presets?! Is that fair?
