I wouldn't mind knowing that myself. You might want to write Ingonator, who is like KVR's resident wavetable genius.
I do not own Serum and do not plan to buy it soon. As someone directly related to Waldorf it would be a bit weird to provide those wavetables for a product from a different company.

Actually i do not even have any samples of those Waldorf wavetables yet as i prefer using the original ones in the corresponding Waldorf synths like e.g. Largo, Blofeld, Nave and PPG Wave 3.V.

AFAIK the wavetables from the original PPG Wave 2.x synths (hardware) seem to be free to everyone (concerning licensing) but for the other Waldorf wavetables (especially the additional ones from Blofeld/Largo/Nave and also the new ones from PPG Wave 3.V) i am not really sure about that. Could be more or less illegal to provide those (at least if they will be used and re-distributed in a 3rd party soundset...).

Finally as i already tried to mention i am not interested in providing those for Serum and also not for other synths that are not from Waldorf (e.g. DUNE 2).
Waveforms that have been copied and converted analog does not violate copyright law. Why? By sampling and converting the original data is changed. Only Digital 1 to 1 copies would not be legal.
Did you Korg asked if you were allowed to convert the VS waveforms of Wavestation for Zebra2? I already and who had given permission.

But we are not talking about samples from analog synths which indeed does not seem to be a problem. We are talking about waetables which is more or less the same as with samples.

I know that you got a permission from Korg which is indeed nice but for the Waldorf wavetables an official permission from them would be necessary.

Anyway opposing to others here i directly worked for Waldorf (besides testing and sound design as their official "Beta Forum Manager") and still do (while not working full time for them) so it's a diffent situation for me. Providing Waldorf wavetables for a product from a different company could lead to serious trouble for me beside the fact that i am not really interested to do that (especially for Serum). FWIWi even would not be interested in Serum if the developer would offer me a NFR copy. I had tested it many times and it is not really for me.

Concerning the wavetables in the hardware PPG Wave 2.x synths (as alraedy mentioned) those wavetables seem to "free". At least AFAIK Wolfgang Palm mentioned this a while a go.

Ewps, sorry Ingo. My brain must have been sleeping, because I knew beforehand about your Waldorf affiliation.

To all: Ingo is the man when it comes to Waldorf, though he's done super presets for other companies.

Forgive me if I'm wrong about any of this.
Ha ha suck it!

Any recent updates worth installing?

You got the Bandreject filter and more from 26 sept?

Yeah, and the resample to wavetable option from a few months back is awesome, if you don't have that yet, you should really get the latest version.

It's really great to see Steve continuing work on Serum and adding excellent features.

Steve offers up great support on all of his products, and has been super helpful to me.

Just made a quick demo track using nothing but 4 instances of Serum.

For those long evolving wave table sounds Serum is awesome. One thing I would like to see is a pattern bank for the LFOs so you can use DAW automation to switch through the patterns.

Nice- sounds like Braids running in my modular (which I think is a good thing!), I'm not sure if it it makes me happy or sad that a few instances of Serum can sound as good as 3K of loving connected modules in my eurorack, but serum (and to be fair reactor 6) are going my modular a good run for its money on this digital oscillator side...!

You don't need to uninstall as long as you install the new version in the same location.

Hi guys!

I just bought Serum and so far I love it. But I been looking for information if there is a way to resize the GUI? I use FL12 and a laptop. If I put the laptop in the docking station and use my big screen it will be okay. Hope someone can shed some light regarding this. Thanks! :help:
