The manual's a bit of a work in progress unless it's been updated over the past week or so.felis wrote: Tue Jan 13, 2026 8:25 pm I guess you have to download the demo to take a look at the manual?

Can you provide a link to the manual, or do you have to download the demo.

I guess I should just search for Ultrawave. I did Ultrawave Presets after the first vid with nothing coming up.

I'd also like to add to the Linux "peer pressure". If a native version were to be on the horizon, it'd be an instabuy for me.
Getting the rent-to-own at a discount and being able to pay it off any time is also a nice touch. Often times rent-to-own is only possible for the MSRP, so that is appreciated. So, if I were to sign up before the launch special ends, I'd be "locked in" for the reduced price and could pay the rest at once at any time, correct? And how long will the special price be available?
Edit: I just installed it on Linux using Wine and it works surprisingly well. Super snappy, very low CPU. Could not tell a difference to the native Windows version. Signing up for the rent-to-own plan now

Hm, downloaded the Trial 1.06, put it to a track in Ableton Live 12.3.2, Windows 11 latest version. Clicked some midi notes, started transport (sound was playing from the synth). Opened GUI -> instant crash (even before showing the GUI)
Tried again, this time without any transport/sound in an empty project. Instant crash when opening the GUI. A white window was shown for the synth, but never saw the real GUI. Probably some graphics framework problem. (Seen similar issues before with other developers/products I'm beta testing for)
Btw: I installed only the VST3, not the Standalone.
And I'm using an AMD 7900XT GPU with the latest driver 25.12.1

The bad news is that I couldn't retrace the original steps to arrive at the same laggy behaviour in v1.0.5 VST3, as I already started moving over my software licenses, including Bitwig, to a new MacBook...The good news however, is that on the new MacBook v1.0.6 VST3 works perfectly (no lag in cycles edit page at least) on MacOS Tahoe, in both Bitwig 5.3.13 and 6b12.ultra_audio wrote: Tue Jan 13, 2026 9:59 amdepends what you're doing - what actions are lagging for you?PieBerger wrote: Tue Jan 13, 2026 9:06 am When in the WT editor page interacting with the UI is incredibly laggy, to the extent that it's unusable sadly, is this a known issue? VST3 in Bitwig 6 beta on MacOS Sequoia. It could be related to the Bitwig beta so I'll try it out in 5.3.13 too and report back ASAP.
On a more a positive note, there is a lot of joy to be had playing with basic waveforms and the warp modes and the overall sound of the synth is fantastic, great job![]()

I really like this synth but really hard to justify paying $150 for it. Also it includes very few presets which is an important factor to me.

well there you go. I guess I'll just put 'Ultra' in You tube, and I'm sure it will pop right up.

Haha! Here's one guy tweaking away, perhaps not super interesting. I guess preset playthroughs will appear eventually.
