Wow, this keeps getting better!!! This is a huge leap forward from where we started. Great work!

@Totolitoto I see my synth is cheaper than most 'preset packs' available for purchase, so don't tell me it's expensive ;-)

@Funkybot's Evil Twin

Thanks! :D

Based on the GUI mockup, it looks like the default name for the pads is "Sound." You might want to default the slots to something that more closely follows the GM mapping like (with corresponding default presets):

Kick
Snare
Closed Hat
Open Hat
Tom Lo
Tom Mid (or maybe remove this and add another percussion slot later on)
Tom Hi
Cymbal
Clap
Cowbell

...this way it will be more familiar to newbies.

@Funkybot's Evil Twin
It will in the next release. It will be set to GM by default for most presets.

No, thank you. I own at least 5 other drum synths (not counting Guru/Geist and BFD), but sound-wise, this is the drum synth I've always wanted. It's so easy to get great sounds out of it, and it's punchy as f**k!

No no no I'm not telling you it's expensive
This is bloody cheap for what it is
It's just I'm broke and under 30 I would buy without feeling guilty :P

General MIDI? Nooooooooooooooo! I love how it is right now! A hi-hat spread over an octave, starting from very short 'closed' to long 'open' gives you total control over the instrument! Will this magnificent keyboard layout be scratched from future updates?

Both options/modes will be available!

v4 is looking awesome, better every day. I had a chance to use it today on a Windows machine... I think I shouldn't have though, cos now I wanna use it on the production machine (osx)... I can't wait to abuse it.

Maybe an obvious and previously answered question?... How do I make the Kick, Snare and Hat appear on C1, D1 and F#1? Cheers - Simon
