Howdy! I just took delivery of LinnStrument 200 a couple of days ago...thanks to forum member tiantong! So in celebration of the new family member I’ve put together a quick video of a song I’ve been working on this week. I hope you all enjoy it!
Outstanding! Great composition too.
Thanks so much Jeremy!

Fontaine--absolutely beautiful. I love your chord voicings, your ideas, your agility, and the sensitivity with which you play. It is videos like this that remind me why I make instruments. Thank you.
Thanks Roger! That ingenious instrument just pulls the good stuff out of me!

I thought we had an understanding that the Medusa would find its way into these jams...
Amazing playing as always, Mr. B. Despite the LinnStrument being designed as an expressive instrument, I always enjoy watching people play keys with it.
Cheers!

Yeah John, you’re right! It’s on the list... I promise!

Thanks for the kind words!

There you are! So nice to see it's getting proper treatment
Beautiful, Fontaine. Keep them going (and joining the voices for a Medusa video too!!)
What's the sound source, by the way?

Thanks everyone

@Roger: I actually don't haha. I bought an EWI 3-4 weeks ago but never played a wind (ok, in school, the panflute when I was 11-12). Thanks a lot. I tried "Respiro" and there was a problem (now fixed) so I could only use it with the EWI. Next time I will try a "full-respiro" cover.
Oh, I saw the new website, really cool!
@Fountaine: I love that. Really nice to listen to.

Thanks David! I’m using the Ravenscroft 275 on the iPad (of course

). Medusa is warming up as we speak!

@ghiekorg: Curses! I’ve been humming that bass riff in my head all day! I love the track! Solo 3 settimane con l‘EWI? Non avrei mai indovinato! Bravo!

Turns out some footage of that gig I played a while back ended up on YouTube:

That was two fifths of the coldest gig I've ever played at. Getting my excuses in...

Thanks! You certainly shouldn‘t be ashamed... I was totally diggin that! What do you have going on in your setup? Were you doing the visuals too?

Ha, thanks very much - if nothing else it's a different approach. Set up was linnstrument feeding Modor NF1m, with self playing Chimera BC16 and Elitone Ultrarolz Farm Detective (!?!) In the back ground, all fed into a Bugbrand PTdelay.
If you're interested there's a thread here with a bit of chat about it and a link half way down to a post set run through of the whole set I did half way down it - there's some nasty clipping at one point (I really should re-do it) but it gives you a better idea of sound and dynamics than the video clip.

Meanwhile as a failed pianist I remain extremely jealous and in awe of your magic jazz fingers. Very good indeed!
Edit: oh and visuals were handled by the venue - first time I've seen those; certainly better than looking at someone staring at an unseen controller!
