So back to the subject of plugins and instruments, has anyone seen that PSP renamed their InfiniStrip as InfiniStrip Fire now? I don't see a note as to any changes. Anyone know? I own and love my PSP stuff. Only about 5 products left to buy from them. Really interested in this one this holiday season when it goes on sale. Anyone using it and loving it? I'd gotten the McDSP ultimate 6050 but it's never really done it for me.
Edit: Google is my friend. Found this: https://kdwmixingmastering.com/blog/psp ... re-edition

uhhh when did I say you accused someone of something? Reeeeealy don't want to get involved, but I'm guessing he means "SJW" as in; Social justice warrior... However, if he does mean "SIW".ATS wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:13 amseriously what is it?revvy wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:12 amOooh, I must have invented that one then!ATS wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:11 amSIW wasn't in thererevvy wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:07 amYou quoted from a dictionary before, why not use it again if you're unsure.ATS wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:03 amuhhh when did I say you accused someone of something? I don't really know what a social justice warrior is either. I'm really not too worried about but was curious what it was.an-electric-heart wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:23 amReeeeealy don't want to get involved, but I'm guessing he means "SJW" as in; Social justice warrior... Just clearing some air here - some people are sensitive to the word Segregation, I did not intend to use it as an inappropriate word at all.
I meant it as 'KEEP SEPARATE' not meant to use it in the way those offended have taken its meaning, its neither political nor anything really, just to separate 'presets deals' from 'good deals'
there are ways to use this word outside its loaded political context. Sorry if it touched a sore spot, I'll make a note not to use that word so lightly in future.

I find ten-line uninteresting sentences unreadable rather than annoying.tooneba wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 5:07 am By the way, how are you guys getting over daily life when easily get annoyed by the 10 lines of uninteresting sentence? Just curious.

My discussion was with ATS - he said the word is interchangeable with separated, I argued it's got some baggage, nothing more.
For those interested in words, here's a free online corpus - https://www.english-corpora.org/coca/ - type 'segregated' for example and click on 'find matching strings' to search, then click on the results. The 'context' tab shows how the word has been used by everyone, not just me.
Apologies to all for the diversion here, I'll shut up now and focus on them bargains.

Awesome. Thanks guys. So what are the deals we're interested in right now? Or should be? One that most people NEVER really talk about but that is super high value for the money is the Omega package from SoundIron. I've had it on my want list for several years now. Might grab it this year finally. Comes down a little from that $999 price through timespace if I remember right from time to time during BF. Or at least it did once. Pretty good price for 115+ products. And I think they keep adding more to it. Opinions? Is it on your list?

Here here - it seems a few people are trying to determine things for everyone. Maybe a poll is needed?ATS wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2020 8:19 pmquietzone wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2020 8:17 pmThey don't participate here though, and we who do participate have to put up with their constant spamming of preset deals. Preset deals we're not interested in anyway, as when this topic comes back again and again, the consensus is pretty much to ban preset deals because they are not useful to the participants here.
