Just throwing in my two cents to confirm that korg.shop still times out when I attempt to enter the coupon to migrate Korg M1, which seems to bork my access to the site in total until I am logged out from my account.
It would be nice if we got some kind of timetable for the migration so we could avoid bombarding the site in an effort to switch over. I suspect the shop backend is just saturated with requests from users, which has effectively killed it.

You‘re right, I‘m biased with that issue and missed in that emotional state the important „don‘t“… Corrected, thanks!Aliens wrote:You know the saying to 'give a shit' means to care or have concern. I give a shit about child poverty
'Don't give a shit' obviously means the opposite and probably what you intended to write. Don't give a shit about the state of community

Given that "taking a shit" means taking a dump, one might think that "to give a shit" would mean its opposite = constipated. The latter state is something to care/be concerned about, so I guess it all makes sense "in the end"!martinjuenke wrote:You‘re right, I‘m biased with that issue and missed in that emotional state the important „don‘t“… Corrected, thanks!Aliens wrote:You know the saying to 'give a shit' means to care or have concern. Back OT - Arp Odyssey was the first synth I ever touched as a wee lad, am always interested in good emulations!

The Arp Odyssey emu is a nice try at it... an interesting synth in its own right. That's all. Nothing too exciting. At all.
I've been comparing it to U-He Repro and Synapse The Legend...
All these once really exceptional companies are just making something to justify their existence and try to make some more profit on their brand name. I love Legacy Collection, but it's getting old...

I must say Oddity sounds a bit better to me, but it's still a really weak emu of ARP, IMHO.
Nobody got the ARP right, so far. I actually prefer Way Out WareTimeWarp 2600 to anything else because it sounds the closest and liveliest of all other emus to my ears. All others seem to be competing in the nicest GUI look possible, nothing else.
But as I said, it maybe doesn't matter. If people find this synth sparkling their creativity... That's perfectly alright. Great actually.
And most important.

Maybe we'll have to wait for Urs to get on to it to have the definitive version
