And yet you guys want it again but different format? You're playing into their hands, it's your fault they can release 1 synth 3 times cause you lot ask for it. It's embarrassing.
Name one other company that has released 4 versions of the same synth. But you let them. You already have jx 8p,it was just released a few months ago on cloud. Yet here you are like some suckers asking to pay for yet another version. You're part of the problem while Roland laughs all the way to the bank.
It's sad.
They didn't release the JX8P... They released a "model" for Zen Core that's "sort of" a JX8P. As they did with the JD-800. And you're right, the JD-800 isn't a real modeled synth either, rather an "encapsulated" Zen Core model too. If there's something to blame users about is the fact they swallow that.
Whats this then

Can't you read?

JX-8P Model Expansion

It's a model expansion for Zenology and Zen Core:

Can anyone offer some thoughts on the difference between the JV1080 and the XV-5080 cloud versions? I know for the hardware the XV was an evolution and was updated with many more waveforms and I think updated sound quality. But in the plugins do they effectively have the same capabilities and sound? I saw that the JV was much expanded from the hardware.

thanks

I'm just excited about the Circuit Mod from the Jupiter 4 potentially being added to the old ACB models. I hope it happens!

Also if the ACB and Zenology plugins could be updated to 4k resolution.

What exactly do you expect a, say, JX8P or JD-800 emulation to be other than what the model in Zen Core / Zenology already does?

Is this about UI or what?

This is about a 1:1 compatibility between the hardware and the software, EG we can pick a patch programmed for the hardware JX-8P and dial the exact same parameter values on the plug-in to obtain the same results. This is not possible in the Zen Core models. WE can obtain (sometimes) a close enough sound, but the parameters are completely different.

So, an ACB software emulation is a close emulation of the hardware, while a Zen Core model is merely an approximation.

Noob question -

do you get one instrument forever for pro sub and two for ultimate or it's one forever for either of the two subs?

Yeah!

Is there a money back guarantee if you can't do the second lifetime?

I would have thought once you achieve nirvana you surpass such petty earthly concerns

Are you safe?
