So you rather just read the list of synths etc. than wan't to know whathibidy wrote:Is there something in the water there? Not only was that rude, but it's far more of a waste than this thread being a "waste"
people have achieved with the plugins? Strange attitude if you see
my opinion as a "waste". H.

I do believe he means your judgmental attitude about others. So what if people want to post about what they have bought? I can say definitely I don't make much of what I have bought, so what? That's not the topic. If you would prefer a different topic you can always start one yourself. It is pretty easy to do.

Ah- I'd have to agree with Harry here, to be honest. I would much rather hear what people are doing with the plugins they own than read a list of what they have.
I'll just say I've got a lot of paid/NFR plugins, and I haven't done enough with them lately

Sometimes this "judgmental attitude" is called discussion (or discursion). If you put a thread like this "list your plugins", it's quite legitime to commenthibidy wrote:braj wrote:I do believe he means your judgmental attitude about others. that just listing gear is not that interesting alone but the things what
to do with your stuff. This is my opinion and it's on the topic, right in the bulls eye. E.g. I think that this thread strenghtens the phenomenon where collecting software is more important than what you do with all the expensive stuff. My critsism was targeted towards this. Of course you don't have to comment all the stupid things you see but you are allowed, if your statement is logic and constructive, as mine. H.

It wasn't the content of your comment I think hibidy was mentioning, but the tone of it. 'measuring the size of your dick' etc. It was simply confrontational. I have no issue with your opinion, even the way you said it, but it is what it is.Harry_HH wrote:Sometimes this "judgmental attitude" is called discussion (or discursion). You're calling this a show off?Urs wrote:I bought a bunch of UAD plugs. Korg Legacy Analog Edition. Saurus.
I did have the Korgs as NFR, but couldn't find the serial. We have a whole bunch of other NFRs though. CableGuys, Cytomic (including The Drop alphas :-p ), some NI, SonicCharge, KuSH, all of SSL native, Camel Audio, FXpansion, NuGen, some Arturia, Arts Accoustic, then Logic, Nuendo, Cubase, Pro Tools, Studio One, Reaper, Live, Reason, Melodyne, Numerology, Samplitude.
(this was a thread to show off, no?)
Maybe you should consider getting some of those U-he plugins before even trying to impress us.

u-he plugins are available in unlimitted supply here. They've become our payment method. That's how the NFRs come about: We get yours, you get ours

I own and use everyday :
Synths :
- U-He Diva : can't bless U-He team enough for her ! Eagerly waiting for Zebra3 and Bazille/Berlin Modular.
- AudioSpillage DrumSpillage & Elektroid (formerly MiniSpillage2)
Fx :
- Kush Audio UBK-1
- Slate VCC & VTM
- Valhalla UberMod & Room
- SSL Duende Channel Strip : I own the whole suite (but X-Verb) but that's the one I can't mix without.
DAW :
- Five12 Numerology 3 Pro
- Ableton Live 8
- Cockos Reaper 4.25
Reaper for mixing, N3Pro and Live together for everything else.
That's my set-up.
I own, really enjoy but use quite less often Madrona Labs Aalto and Klanghelm DC8C.
I've also bought but don't use anymore :
- lots of Airwindows plugins : they're not what I need now, excellent plugins though !
- Sonimus Satson : but I went for VCC few months ago
- SKnote Roundtone : before VTM, I sometimes use it as a great delay unit though. Stripbus & GTS-39 : never really got into both.
- Arts Acoustic CL-Series : was impressed when I demoed them, bought them 2nd hand so they became NFR, but unfortunately I've never succeeded to work with them.
- Harrison Mixbus 1 : no demo available back then, can be great if it suits your workflow... doesn't fit mine.
