Not really a LinnStrument demo, but this is the first track I have written since getting my LinnStrument. Most of the synth and sfx parts are played on the LS, as well as solo violin + solo cello.
In the music cafe area:

Very nice track, antcarrier. For the videos page, I'm mainly interested in videos that spotlight LinnStrument.

Recorded last year. I am planning on doing a proper version when I finally find the time. Just wanted to post this rough version to see what people thought

Very nice expressive Beck licks, Paul. I just put it on the Owner Videos 3 page:

Thank you so much Roger. I'm hoping to actually do the LS justice someday.

Thanks, 48cube. I've added it to the Owner Videos 3 page.
By the way, you can avoid the video flickering by using a low video frame rate (24 or 25 fps) along with keeping the shutter open as long as possible, ideally for the entire frame. The point is to keep the shutter open as long as possible to capture the LEDs when they pulse on, which is only 1/26 of the time.

Thanks a lot for the tips on fps and shutter settings!

Yet another one, this time with anAmoNoX - modular monosynth with analog filters.

I thought a few of you might be interested in this. I've put together a really simple, heavy duty stand for my 200 Linnstrument.
I used a Roland MD4 drum rack (eBay for $30!), and mounted a Handsonic, a mixer, a Kaossilator, my laptop and my Linnstrument on it.
For the Linnstrument, I secure the controller to a piece of wood with 2 pieces of 2" velcro.
The wood is suspended with 2 cymbal arms.
The whole thing cost me less than $50 (for all my devices) and at a recent concert, I was able to get everything exactly where I wanted it, with no movement. (I even brought the gear to the local festival with everything velcro'd down and left in place.
Thought it might solve some issues for some of you, who perform live, and need an angled mount...
Yeah I know - the photos are terrible. If anyone is interested, I can take a better photo and send it

.
All the best,
Will (Canada)

Thanks for this, Will. Another option is one Geert found: the Model 18825 Stand from German company K&M, shown at the bottom of the Hooking It Up page.

Sorry - didn't see your post.
It's a sound from Spectrasonics Omnisphere. Killer software plug-in, but not cheap.
I can look up the name if you're still interested...
