Nice, is that a bicycle rack?justin3am wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 10:23 pm It went well! Here is a shot of the corner where I was set up:
My modular rig is on the far left, there were more tables off to the right.
I got to spend a few minutes with a Synthstrom Deluge which was a lot of fun.
After about an hour anxiety kinda kicked in but other than that I had a good time. It made me feel a lot better about upcoming gigs. Setup and break down was very easy since I can keep almost everything patched in these cases. I just need to put together a 15-30min set now.![]()

Yeah, it was a lot of fun! I met some new faces and maybe new collaborators. I wish you could come out here, too. It would be a blast. I guarantee that if I'm ever on your side of the world, we'll be meeting up for a jam session.vurt wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 1:10 pm shame about the anxiety, but i know what that can be like.
sounds like a great night though, hands on new toys, just being with other like-minded people doing stuff. looks like fun, and the place looks nice and clean too.
wish i was closer, all i have here is rock and metal folks![]()

I think so! I was bummed that I didn't think to bring any piezo mics!

"Farty aliasing" is the corner stone of electronic music. So yea, that's progress.imrae wrote: Mon Nov 07, 2022 12:32 pm Got stuck into pi pico documentation, managed to make a farty aliasing saw wave with really wobbly voltage control and an SPI DAC. It's progress, I think![]()

unplugged and moved a few bits (not the euro or computer, yet...) to prepare for moving this room around a bit.
getting a bit late now, and im enjoying the sounds coming from the bits still playing, so ill get the rest sorted tomorrow!!
and get to this point again, after unplugging the euro and computer, moving the stuff...
then rewire the main bits to get some noise going, then i can finish moving the other bits back to their new, hopefully, more streamlined for use and make the room more inviting, places.

I have mixed around 25 tunes now from the last year of work.
Liking what I am hearing, the upcoming CD will be interesting, more complex sound design and production then previous releases.
This will be CD number 21.
Have hired an artist friend to do the cover.
Will not be using CDbaby anymore due to too many F!k ups.
The original owner did a great job but since it was sold, not so good.
If anyone has experience elsewhere let me know.....

I'm creating an animation toolbox for audio oscillators and signals, based on Manim library.
So that's basically a synthesizer but for a video.
