May it mean that DiscoDsp was just bought by U-He to develop the ultimate Nordlead emulation with Repro level of sound quality and authenticity?

We will have a nice and friendly conversation with U-he if that's ever happen. This is more like Apple's move.
Hope George is ok and will be back soon.

Just in case, it was purely my wishful thinking. Nothing like that was ever actually announced or rumoured anywhere.

no one in their right mind would 'disable' their website, esp. a one which is commercial. you test new stuff away from the domain and when it works then perhaps you will 'disable' your site. but you shouldn't have to do that anyway.
it seems that (a) domain has expired?? .. unlikely. or (b) they are out of business. times are hard, it is possible. it's a shame i like discodsp a lot.
if they are 'temporarily disabled it may be because the developers are also responsible for their website design and maintenance. and maybe they aren't so hot on that.
my feeling is they are out of business...
temporarily maybe : )

It will most likely be something simple and innocent. Perhaps there is a name change in the works or the "temporary" shutdown really was supposed to be so short that no one was likely to notice and then some technical difficulties popped up. Who knows at this point ?
After all these years George does not strike me as someone who would just shut down and disappear without a word.
But like I said who knows.....I guess time will tell.

The domain is valued at about $2300 according to this source:
http://www.freevaluator.com/?domain=discodsp.com
A tidy little sum, but hardly enough for George to sail off into the sunset with, if he wanted to retire on his laurels.

Damn this is distressing. I have everything backed up except for Vertigo which I got NFR through one of the charity events here. I have the license and replacement dll but the emails says to download the demo. I hope I can find that somewhere.
I do truly hope everything is ok with George. I have exchanged a few emails with him over the years. He was always a nice guy and quite professional.

But i think he is the one who close the site Temporarily , maybe something wrong happens in his life that he needs to take time for him and be away from discodsp for a short time (Temporarily closed , not permanent or out of business).
