^ my pleasure Roger - still in love with my linnstrument!
Tj Shredder wrote: Mon Mar 08, 2021 10:32 am Nice one, sounds like the LinnStrument is a perfect addition to a modular... Certainly better than any keyboard because it embraces the continuous character of CV...
Indeed, though there's a bit of smoothing required since the Linnstrument is putting out CCs. I should really look at which are higher resolution thinking about it, though the fh1 does a good job of smoothing jitter once you figure out how. If/when I can solve an issue I'm having with that config I'll put the hex file up on here in case it helps anyone else...

Hello everyone,
Heres a song I played recently at an online festival using the linnstrument to control the Hydrasynth

A little solo, with HydraSynth as sound source. (Starts around 40 sec in, after the depressing vocal.)

"Sanctuary" is a jazz fusion piece featuring LinnStrument controlling alto sax (Audio Modeling), guitar (Orange Tree Samples Hollowbody), acoustic bass (Trillian), and Hydrasynth, along with piano and Zendrum.

That's quite a composition and arrangement, Jeremy. You're such a talented guy.

Thank you! I reworked the drums a bit and updated the file. I hope all is well!

Here's a video of me playing the Linnstrument (driving Supercollider) as half of Usufruct, my duo with Polly Moller Springhorn. The first part is a duet with bass flute. The second part... isn't.

I doubt it has much promotional value, but it's an example of the Linnstrument's expressive capabilities in an experimental music context.

Linnstrument into Bugbrand modular by way of expert sleepers fh-1. Duophonic melodic noise type things. I was aiming for something like massive, out of control and organic at different points throughout. Intro and three parts, consisting of eleven or twelve takes, all played/recorded live before the odd edit in reaper. Let me know if you give it a go!

Good sound. Very emotive.

Quanta is a very capable soft synth. Makes me miss the iPad rig. Well, sort of.

Okay, not really, but you know what I mean.

Cheers!
