Can someone just for the love of baby cheeses please give us a way to set the bleeding arp rate on synths like the Juno 60?

Are you safe?

What do D-10/D-20 bring to the table that D-50 doesn't have? Regarding the others, yeah, many users (me included) already requested that JD-800 is extended with the JD-990 features. But LD-800 isn't even an ACB recreation, rather a re-skinned Xenology module made independent.
I like D-10/D-20 rompler type of sounds, including the drum kits. they have certain mojo to them, even the synths sounds. D-50 sounds more hi-fi, but D-10/20 have more character. I know many will laugh and say D-10/20 sounds cheesy or whatever, but it’s sounds get my attention.
That’s what makes synths or sounds often desired , not their perfection but their uniqueness.
Check out D-20’s demo “my brother” sounds amazing too. Sad, melancholy but beautiful.

If you can't wait for Roland Cloud, I saw a D-20 online for $199.

Or just get the D-50 plugin when they have the Play-4-Life deal.
I got D-50 and XV-5080 from that “2 synths for life” promotion from last year.
D-50 works, and sounds, great, while XV-5080 is very buggy on MacOS Catalina and was on previous MacOS ( sounds are cutting out and CPU is spiking ) , I was told it works ok on MacOS Sonoma, but I’m holding off upgrading because Cubase 12 and most plugins are not compatible with it yet.

Will Mac people ever learn that Windows is the Professional choice?

Seriously though. There's a never ending stream of Mac compatibility issues on every computer music making forum. Forget the hype. Just get something that works.

It looks to me like you want to trigger Mac vs PC war :(
Let it go dude, don't stress, just ignore Mac related posts and you'll be alright - you'll live longer as well

In the hope of preventing thread derailment I'd re-iterate my desire for a SH5 plugin.

They must add Supernatutal Acoustic sounds to zenology. Right now zenology is almost perfect for synth sounds, but the acoustic sounds are mostly old xv+srx sounds that are just not good enough for 2023. If they'll add even a small amount of Supernatural acoustic sounds, zenology will be one of the top 3 vsts out there.

The JP-8k is really popular, and has never seen a remake in hardware or software form from Roland. It's incomprehensible for me.
I am still waiting for Chro-8080 for Reaktor Player. I think a license can be bought now if you have the full version of Reaktor (which I don't have).
I read that it doesn't have a proper emulation of the JP-8k's filter. Which is a shame, as it's (IMO) quite a good sounding digital filter, and makes for a lot of the character of the JP-8k.

I recently read about issues with some Traktor devices on Mac OS Sonoma on the NI forums. Exactly the same went through my mind. The never ending stream of compatibility issues with every new Mac OS version. Excuse my language, but, if I, as a user, or developer, would get that buttf****ed by a company, I would surely not stuff another thousands of Euros into their greedy throat.

Really glad I use issue free computers.

It is actually really strange that the JP-8000 isn't one of the ones they already did, given that it's digital and they've done so many digital emulations already. Wouldn't think it would be that hard to emulate (by Roland I mean). I'm sure we'll see it at some point.
